2020 WRAPPED

RULES: it’s time to love yourselves! Choose your 5 favorite works you created in the past year (fics, art, edits, etc.) and link them below to reflect on the amazing things you brought into the world in 2020. Tag as many writers/artists/etc. as you want (fan or original) so we can spread the love and link each other to awesome works!
1 - I haven’t written a lot this year in terms of fandom stuff, but the most recent chapters of “1961 - THOSE WHO ARE LOST” are probably some of the best words I’ve ever put on a document so there’s that. I strongly suggest you to read this piece of junk I’m almost (almost) close to finishing.
2 - My artistic vein was at the driest point at the start of last year, but then I discovered a group of 4 dumb idiots and they inspired me to start drawing again. If it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t be here today, posting a comic or a fanart every week. It all started with this art: “CAMBIERA’” which the Eugenio in Via di Gioia boys liked and reposted on their page and I will forever be grateful for that.
3 - The art which took the most time to complete but also had me very satisfied with the final result (after a few retakes) is this: “MATTINO”.
4 - Starting publishing some silly comics about The Old Guard made me discover a new interesting fandom and helped me make a few new friends so I have to link the “HOW TO TAME YOUR CRUSADER” series, which was the first one.
5 - Last but not least, I know it has very few notes than the rest of my posts but I am very, very happy with how this fanart came out to be: “LA LUNA”. It took me 3 entire evenings, but I’m very satisfied and I can’t wait to do the Yusuf version.
I’m tagging my love @cielo-chii and @sal-si-puedes
Here to testify to the world that the Eugenio in Via di Gioia boys are the cutest lil sunflowers out there and I love them very very much
Voglio postarlo anche qui perché è un ricordo bellissimo da condividere 💕🥺🥰
Non sento più freddo, non provo dolore, sono e non sono un giovane illuminato
Saturday evening I had my first ‘kebab night’ with the boys from Eugenio in Via di Gioia (an event they organize every year and this time had to do online). It’s incredible how easy it is to follow this group, befriend them, talk to them. In a year as crazy as 2020, discovering and getting to know these four guys (and the crew of amazing people surrounding them) truly made all the difference: they saved me. Helped me keeping sane with their music during the worse times, gave me a summer of concerts despite the restrictions and, most of all, inspired me to not give up making art and contents when I was sure I was done with it. If I’m still drawing/writing it’s thanks to them, if I’ve smiled a lot even this year, it’s mostly thanks to them. So here’s a ‘thank you’ I’ve prepared after Saturday’s Zoom call :) Waiting for all the great music coming next year and the many, many crazy things they are for sure working on.
