Summary: The funny thing about traveling between universes, Keith reflects, is that somehow he always meets the exact same people. Shiro is one of them.

Reaction: Read it so many time. So basically, Keith travels  (in time?) in different universes but always ends up where Voltron Crew is (power of friendship it is). Brace yourself because it’s gonna play with your heart :) Keith is awkward (and, nothing new, will break your heart to melt it later when you think you’re alright again), Shiro is pinning, Lance is a blessing, Pidge is smart, Hunk is awesome. Voltron -that’s it. And it makes this fic awesome - characterization is perfect. Plus the writing style is really good AND IT MENTIONS DRAGONS. DRAGONS. (okey like 2 sentences but sue me. DRAGONS)

their smile

rare and 90% of time directed only at her child(ren). always small, subtle even, never showing teeth. smiles more with her eyes than her mouth.

their shortcomings

not terribly friendly. often focused on her goals to the exclusion of all else. very secretive (in the case of d&d!eugyne, dangerously so)

how they react to burning their tongue on food

mad at herself for being careless. doesnt outwardly react at all. will probably keep eating anyway, waiting for food to cool is a waste of time.

how they sleep

not well. shes in a constant state of stress and often wakes up in the middle of the night to check on arete. d&d!eugyne in particular has been having a lot of nightmares lately.

how they act when they’re sick

if the situation allows, she will take good care of herself. chances are though shell just keep going, especially if its just a cold. she only complains if it will benefit her in some way (ie. convincing someone to do something for her). regardless she will be very careful not to get her kid(s) sick.

Pardon the stupid question but how would you pronounce Arete?

That’s not a stupid question at all! I’m actually surprised no one has asked sooner…

I pronounce it like “AR - eh - tay”, but strictly speaking it’s a word I borrowed from ancient Greek and is pronounced, IIRC, “ar - AY - tay”. Either is fine!

(Also: Heron is pronounced “HEE - ron” and Eugyne like “YU-jin”.)
