When He Notices Your Baby Bump For The First Time ~ BTOB Reaction
Eunkwang:
“I can really see it now,” Eunkwang accidentally spoke aloud as he watched you walk around the apartment, getting a rare side view of you that allowed him to see your bump.
Your shoulders shrugged as a giggle escaped trying to figure Eunkwang out. “I’m hoping your talking about the bump and not my bum, it’s all getting big with this pregnancy.”
“Of course, I mean the bump, but the bum thing isn’t such a bad thing either.”
Your head shook at Eunkwang’s remark, a snigger coming from him as he knew he was pushing the boundaries. “You’re lucky I’m pregnant otherwise you’d be in big trouble for saying that to me Seo Eunkwang.”
“I can definitely see that you’re pregnant now,” Eunkwang chuckled, “I’ve blinked and suddenly you’re really pregnant Y/N.”
“I’ve not been faking it for the first few weeks,” you laughed in reply, “I’ve really been pregnant all this time you know.”
“But seeing it is different,” he whispered, “like there really is a little life there.”
“I know, our little life too.”
Minhyuk:
“Since when did you suddenly have such a prominent bump,” Minhyuk mumbled behind you, wrapping his arm over your waist as he cuddled up to you, waiting for his alarm.
You nuzzled back to press yourself against Minhyuk’s chest, “doesn’t it just feel like all of a sudden it’s really starting to show? A couple of days ago there was nothing there to feel.”
“It feels like the first proper sign that we’re having a baby, it’s finally sinking in.”
You hummed in agreement with Minhyuk as his hand traced over your bump, trying to encourage you to sleep for a few more minutes. “Just wait until we lay like this and you start feeling their little kicks.”
“Don’t,” Minhyuk chuckled, already feeling his stomach knot with excitement. “I can’t wait for what we’ve got to come our way Y/N.”
“Me too,” you smiled, closing your eyes as a yawn escaped from you. “Do you think we’re ready to have a baby Min?”
“It’s too late now,” he teased, “but I do. We make the best team in my opinion.”
“And in my opinion too.”
Changsub:
“There really is a bump there,” Changsub murmured as he came up behind you, snaking his arms around your waist and feeling against your tummy, catching the curve of your bump.
You tilted your head to look back at Changsub, looking at him in bemusement. “What did you think I was growing here? You sound surprised to realise that there’s a bump here.”
“It’s overwhelming being able to finally feel it for myself, not just hear about it.”
Changsub’s hands continued to move around your stomach as he searched to find out all of the little features of your bump. “How do you think you’ll be in a few months when my bump sticks out so far?”
“I think I could cry already,” Changsub honestly admitted, “I think the best way to describe how I’ll be in a while is just a complete mess.”
“You can’t cry on me, my hormones are all over the place and can’t be dealing with you,” you joked, hitting against his arm.
“We can cry together,” Changsub suggested, “this poor baby will be a wreck.”
“What are we going to do Sub?”
Hyunsik:
“Wow,” you heard Hyunsik whisper as you massaged your hands over your bump, rubbing around it in circles as you tried your best to keep it moisturised. “It’s really there now.”
A chuckle came from you as Hyunsik commented on his observation. “You know this bump has been here for a good few weeks now, it’s not just magically appeared like nothing.”
“I’d never really spotted it before, but watching you then I could really see it.”
You smiled widely across at Hyunsik, enthused by the excitement that was so clear in his voice as he watched on. “It’s already getting so big to care for, who knows what I’ll be like taking care of this in a few months.”
“You’ve got me to help you,” Hyunsik reminded you, offering you a wide grin, “you’ll be fed up with me sticking around that bump of yours.”
“No way,” you protested with a laugh, “these days I think I’ll be glad of all the support that I can get in a couple of months' time.”
“I bet you’ll get annoyed,” Hyunik vowed, “you’ll be kicking me out of the house.”
“I bet that’ll never happen.”
Peniel:
“I can see it,” Peniel suddenly announced as you lifted your shirt over the top of your head, brows furrowing as you looked to him in confusion whilst getting your pyjama shirt.
You’d not seen Peniel’s smile so wide in a long time as he refused to look away from you. “What can you see?” You asked him, not making sense of what was going on at all.
“I can see your bump, just then, I could really see the definition at the bottom.”
You glanced down to your bump, cupping underneath it exactly where Peniel had noticed it beginning to show. “This past week it's grown loads, I’ll be huge in a matter of days at the rate I’m growing.”
“I’m so excited,” Peniel whispered as you placed your new shirt on before walking across to the bed, taking a seat right beside Peniel.
“It feels a bit more real now being able to actually see it,” you whispered, deciding to rest your head against Peniel’s shoulder.
“I’ll take care of you,” he promised, “and this ever growing bump at the same time too.”
“We’re both very lucky with you.”
Sungjae:
“Look at you,” Sungjae chimed as he watched you walk down the stairs in your dress for the evening, unable to hide his smile as he noticed a hint of your bump showing through.
As you looked to Sungjae you followed his gaze to where he was looking. “It’s a little tighter than I wanted it to be, I don’t think I’ll be able to hide my bump tonight though.”
“I don’t want you to hide your bump, I want to show it off to everyone who’s there.”
A chuckle came from you as Sungjae closed the distance between the two of you, wrapping his arm around your waist. “Half of my wardrobe isn’t going to fit me soon, it’s already a bit of a struggle to find something.”
“Don’t worry,” Sungjae whispered, pressing a kiss to your cheek, “you could wear anything and you’d still look beautiful in my opinion Y/N.”
“You have to say that,” you jokingly challenged, “I’m pregnant with your baby, if you’re mean to me then I’ll make sure I get my revenge.”
“I’m being serious,” he assured you, “you look even better now your bump is showing too.”
You wore a nervous smile as you were greeted by some of Eunkwang’s family, not recognising any of them. “And who are you?” One of them asked as they went over to greet Eunkwang.
“This is Y/N,” he proudly smiled, wrapping his arm around your waist, “she’s actually mine, Y/N is my partner auntie.”
Her smile turned up as she met your eyes, “it’s lovely to meet you Y/N,” she told you, her smile genuine and her eyes bright as she then looked across to Eunkwang.
“It’s lovely to meet you too,” you smiled back across to her.
After a few moments, his aunt walked away, leaving you and Eunkwang alone again. “They’ll be a lot of introductions today,” he warned you.
“You’re not going to keep telling everyone that I’m yours, are you?” You asked Eunkwang, letting go of a chuckle when his head nodded in reply to you.
“You are mine,” he reminded you, pressing a kiss to your cheek, “it’s not making you shy hearing me call you mine by any chance?”
“A little,” you smirked, “it’s just around your family too, it feels like a pretty big deal.”
“I’m just being honest with them.”
Minhyuk:
A lump ran down your throat as you felt a presence just beside you at the bar, looking around in a bit of a panic. “What are you doing all by yourself?” The figure soon asked you.
“I’m waiting for my boyfriend,” you told them, avoiding eye contact with them, “he’s just gone for a couple of minutes.
A snigger came from the guy beside you, “I’ve heard that trick before, pretend you’ve got a boyfriend because you don’t want the guy to speak to you, right?”
“Hey, she’s mine,” a voice called out, as if on cue.
Your eyes looked past the guy’s shoulder to see Minhyuk with his arms folded across his chest. “Is it still a trick?” You asked him confidently.
“I’m sorry,” Minhyuk whispered across to you as the guy backed away, walking straight over to you and wrapping his arms tightly around your frame.
“It’s not your fault,” you hummed as you rested against Minhyuk’s shoulder, letting go of a bit of a sigh of relief to be with him.
“No one talks to what’s mine,” he told you. “There’s no way he’d have had a shot with you.”
“He’s not as good as you anyway.”
Changsub:
His eyes watched as Minhyuk grabbed you, pulling you across to sit beside him on the sofa. “Hey, Y/N’s mine,” Changsub called out to him as he watched Minhyuk take you.
“Y/N’s on my team,” Minhyuk responded, but Changsub’s head shook as he reached forwards too to pull you back to him.
You didn’t quite know what to do as both of your arms were held onto, “you said earlier that you wanted to be on Hyunsik’s team, so I’ll take Y/N onto my team.”
“That was before I knew Y/N was playing,” Changsub argued.
A sigh came from you as you looked between the two of them, “maybe it’s best if I go on Changsub’s side, why don’t you take Hyunsik instead?”
“Sure,” Minhyuk agreed, unable to bring himself to look across at Changsub, unable to imagine how smug the smile was that he wore, “I’m happy with Hyunsik.”
“I knew you’d come and play with me,” Changsub proudly smiled as Minhyuk dropped your arm, “Y/N prefers me to you Minhyuk.”
“Hey,” you scolded, “I’m only on your side so no one has to deal with you pouting.”
“I never pout, what do you mean?”
Hyunsik:
The eyes of the boys watched you both as you and Hyunsik walked into the studio with your hands intertwined. “Is this…have you guys…are you finally together now?”
“I finally asked Y/N to be mine,” Hyunsik laughed, raising your hands up in response to Sungjae’s stuttering question.
The volume in the studio quickly picked up as the boys cheered for you both, “it’s about time, we thought you two were just going to be in denial together forever.”
“We were never in denial,” you laughed at Eunkwang.
His eyebrows raised questionably back across at you, “we were starting to bet whether we’d have to force you guys together instead.”
“We weren’t that bad,” Hyunsik chuckled, “but you’ll all be pleased to know that we’re together, and you guys don’t have to pull any of your stupid pranks.”
“Agreed,” you spoke up, “you guys have been far from subtle in trying to do things to bring the two of us together.”
“You noticed,” Minhyuk sniggered, “we just wanted you guys to be together.”
“And at last, here we are.”
Peniel:
You were tentative as Peniel walked back across to you after greeting a few of his fans. “Are you alright?” Peniel asked you as he quickly realised how distant you were.
“They’re a lot,” you told him, nodding in the direction of his fans, “it’s not really my kind of style I guess with them.”
Peniel nodded as he reached across and took a hold of your hand, “some of the fans do like to try and be a little bit flirty, I never quite know what to do myself.”
“They definitely like you,” you muttered under your breath.
A sigh came from Peniel as he tried to bring your eyes back to him, “you’re mine, none of them, let them do whatever they want to do.”
“I know,” you weakly smiled, glancing up and meeting Peniel’s eyes, “it’s just such a weird thing to watch, all these fans throwing themselves at you.”
“I wish there was more that I could do to stop them,” he admitted, “but you know that I’m with you, you’re the one I want.”
“I do,” you agreed, “like you told me, I’m the one that gets to be yours, right?”
“Exactly, you’re mine Y/N.”
Sungjae:
You didn’t quite know where to look as one of Sungjae’s managers cornered you, wanting to know who you were. “I’m here with Sungjae,” you nervously stuttered to them.
“Are you though?” They challenged, firmly glancing down at you, “do you know how many people like to say that.”
As he fell silent, a voice cleared from behind them. “Y/N’s mine,” a familiar voice told them, watching on as the confidence that was in his manager fell apart.
“Oh, I see, sorry,” he told you, stepping aside for you.
Sungjae immediately made his way over to you, draping his arms over your shoulders. “I’m sorry I didn’t come and find you Y/N.”
“It’s alright,” you sighed, resting your head against Sungjae’s shoulder. “I really thought that I wasn’t going to be allowed backstage for a second there.”
“Like I told him, you’re mine,” Sungjae proudly smiled, “there’s no way that I wouldn’t find a way to bring you in here.”
“Thank you,” you chuckled, “it feels pretty good to hear you call me mine too you know.”
When He Has A Nightmare, But You Aren’t There ~ BTOB Reaction
Eunkwang:
Your eyes were drawn straight away to Eunkwang sat up in the middle of the bed as you walked in. You were only gone a matter of moments as you went to get a drink, only to find him panting for breath.
You rushed across to Eunkwang and placed your arm around his shoulders, using your hand to guide his face so that his eyes met yours, letting him know that you were there.
Eunkwang’s breaths were heavy as he tried to follow your breathing pattern. “It’s alright, just take a moment,” you encouraged across to him.
“I h-had a nightmare,” Eunkwang stuttered, nervously looking across to you as his mind wondered. “There was some guy, he was threatening to take you away from me Y/N.”
“I’m right here,” you assured him, taking a tight grip of Eunkwang’s hands, “there’s no one that is going to take me anywhere.”
Eunkwang nodded as he assured himself too that you were with him. “It just felt so real Y/N, and then you weren’t actually here.”
You smiled softly, unable to imagine how worried Eunkwang must have been. “I just got a drink; I promise that no one took me.”
“Good, and I won’t let anyone either Y/N.”
Minhyuk:
The sound of your phone buzzing took you by surprise, especially when you saw Minhyuk’s name come up on your phone screen. You knew it was late for him, halfway around the world whilst on tour.
You dropped what you were doing and quickly picked up the phone, your heart sinking as you heard the rapid pace of Minhyuk’s breathing on the other end of the line.
It took you a moment to speak, worried about what was going on. “Minhyuk, are you alright? Shouldn’t you be asleep right now?”
“I was, but then I had a nightmare,” he explained to you, “I just wanted to ring you and make sure that you were alright, in my nightmare I couldn’t even get hold of you.”
“Min, I’m so sorry,” you whispered, glancing out of your window at the sunshine, “I wish I could be there with you now.”
A shaky breath came from Minhyuk as the sound of your voice began to settle him. “I’m sorry if I disturbed your day at all Y/N.”
You couldn’t help but chuckle as Minhyuk apologised, “you didn’t disturb me at all, I just want to make sure that you’re alright.”
“I’m a lot better now I’m talking to you.”
Changsub:
Your head snapped around as you heard loud calls of your name, hearing Changsub’s footsteps as he raced down the stairs. He soon appeared at the door of your office, almost launching himself across at you.
Your hands held onto him tightly as he buried his head into the crook of your neck, with several sighs of relief coming from him as he saw you sat working at your desk.
You gave him the time that he needed before pulling back and looking across at him. “What’s going on? Why the big panic suddenly?”
“I had a nightmare whilst I was asleep, there was this gunshot and I didn’t know where you were,” he stuttered, struggling to speak in between his hiccups of tears.
“A gun in your dream?” You quizzed, offering him a weak smile as Changsub could only nod back across at you.
He sighed gently before meeting your eyes again, “when I woke up and saw you not there, I thought maybe it was real after all.”
You felt terrible as Changsub let go of a deep breath, relieved to see you staring back at him. “Take all the time that you need.”
“Thank you, I really appreciate that Y/N.”
Hyunsik:
You were surprised as you slid back underneath the duvet to feel Hyunsik cuddling into you closely. When you left, he was fast asleep, but as you looked back at Hyunsik now, his eyes were wide open looking at you.
You weren’t quite sure what was going on, but from the tight grip that Hyunsik had on you suddenly, you could tell that he needed you, wrapping your arms around his frame.
Your touch brought a faint smile to Hyunsik’s face as he kept his eyes on you. “How come you’re suddenly awake? Are you alright?”
“I think so,” Hyunsik responded, his voice faltering slightly. “I had a bit of a nightmare, but I was fine. Then I looked to my left though and you weren’t there, I just got confused.”
“I just went to the toilet,” you informed him, not wanting for Hyunsik to worry. “How did a nightmare happen so quickly?”
Hyunsik’s shoulders shrugged back at you, “I must’ve heard you leaving the room and panicked, wondered where you were going.”
You didn’t quite know what to say or do, feeling guilty as you carried on staring at Hyunsik. “Are you sure you’re good now?”
“Yeah, I’m a lot better seeing you here.”
Peniel:
The buzz of your phone made you jump at your desk, reaching into your back pocket to pull it out. After seeing Peniel’s name come up on the screen, you glanced at the clock just beside your laptop in confusion.
It was well into the morning, nearing the afternoon, you were sure that Peniel was supposed to be up already, and most likely due to be at the studio at any time too.
Yet, as you answered his call, you could hear how groggy his voice was. “Are you still in bed? Do you know what time it is Peniel?”
“I know,” he faintly whispered, “I decided to sleep in late but then I had a nightmare, and you weren’t home, and I just panicked, I’m sorry that I called you.”
“No,” you quickly called out, fearing that he was going to hang up the call. “I’m not too busy, do you want to talk about what happened?”
It took a moment for Peniel to reply to you, “I don’t even know right now. It felt real, and you weren’t here, my mind is so conflicted.”
Your head nodded as you listened to Peniel closely, “do you want me to come home? You shouldn’t be alone right now Peniel.”
“No, I’ll be alright, don’t let me disturb you.”
Sungjae:
As you walked back up the stairs, the sound of mumbling quickly caught your attention. Your pace picked up as you recognised the voice as Sungjae’s, getting back across to the bedroom as soon as you could.
Your eyes widened as you walked into the bedroom to find Sungjae sat up, beads of sweat running down his face as his breath hitched several times, shoulders rising and falling.
You couldn’t move quickly enough, perching down beside Sungjae with your arms around him. “Hey, it’s just me,” you whispered to him.
“Y/N,” Sungjae mumbled, resting his head down against the top of your shoulder. “Where were you? Why did you leave me without telling me where you were going?”
“I just went downstairs to get my phone,” you sighed, holding on tightly to Sungjae, “where else do you think I could’ve gone?”
A shrug of the shoulders came from Sungjae, “the nightmare involved you, you were mad at me and then you got into an accident.”
Your head shook as tears began to fall down Sungjae’s cheeks, “I’m not mad at you, I promise, and I’m right here now too.”
When You Sleepily Lay Down In His Lap ~ BTOB Reaction
Eunkwang:
A shy smile crept onto your face as a hand came down to rest against your waist. “Did you think I wouldn’t notice you falling into my lap?”
Your head shook as Eunkwang laughed at your failed attempt to be subtle. “I thought if I moved slowly enough, you’d just think that I was tired and snoozing.”
As he glanced down at you, a small sigh came from him. “Are you tired?” He asked you, knowing that you’d had a couple of busy days at work trying to reach all of your deadlines.
“A tad,” you smiled, “but I reckon that I’ll be alright still.”
“Why don’t you sleep whilst you’re in my lap?”
Your head turned slightly to look up at Eunkwang properly. “Are you sure that you won’t mind if I sleep in your lap for a little bit?” You asked him.
“Sleep,” he simply chuckled in reply to you, “as if I would ever mind you getting some rest, especially if I can help you out too.”
“I mean, your lap is a very comfortable place for me.”
“In that case, sleep away in my lap Y/N.”
Minhyuk:
A sweet smile greeted you as you rested your head down into Minhyuk’s lap. “You seem sleepy,” he commented as he met your eyes.
A hum and a nod of your head came from you as Minhyuk brushed his hand gently through your hair. “I’ve not felt this tired in a long time,” you eventually spoke.
His head nodded back at you, “I can always tell when you’re tired because you sleep in my lap,” he replied, knowing exactly what all of your habits were usually like.
“Your lap is cosy,” you smiled, “it helps me to relax.”
“You can sleep here all night long if you want.”
Your head nodded, finding great comfort as you rested against Minhyuk. “You know, it’s times like this, I’m thankful that you go to the gym.”
“Of course,” he sniggered, “did you not know that the only reason that I work out is so that I can be a comfortable pillow for you.”
“I wish that was the reason that you worked out.”
“We can pretend that that’s the reason.”
Changsub:
Your head shook as Changsub tapped into his lap for you to lay your head, trying your best to stay awake. “You’ll rest down in my lap soon.”
You smiled weakly at how well he knew you, “you’re trying to watch your programme though,” you argued, but Changsub’s head shook too, not minding at all.
He moved his arm to wrap around you, slowly lowering your frame down until your head was in his lap. “You’ll sleep a lot better laying in my lap then trying to sit up Y/N.”
“I’m not tired,” you protested, “just a little lazy.”
“You’ve been yawning nonstop tonight Y/N.”
Your eyes rolled as his hand tickled gently against your waist, “I can’t help the fact that I got woken up this morning by some idiot snoring really loud.”
“Me?” Changsub asked in surprise, “I can’t believe you’d say that I snore, I’m the perfect person to fall asleep beside you know.”
“You could not be more wrong about that one.”
“I don’t snore, I’m a gentleman in bed.”
Hyunsik:
A hand slowly stroked through your hair as Hyunsik noticed your eyes beginning to close as you rested in his lap. “Do you want to go to bed?”
Your head shook as you pushed yourself even further into his legs, “I’m alright,” you hummed in reply, trying your best to open your eyes properly again.
A chuckle came from Hyunsik as he watched how hard you worked to keep your eyes open, “if you want to go to sleep then you can, I don’t mind, you’re not watching this anyway.”
“I’m trying,” you assured him, “but I am just so sleepy tonight.”
“Get some rest, don’t fight it if you need to sleep.”
A sigh came from you as Hyunsik continued to gently play with your hair, “I don’t want to get weighty on you as I sleep,” you admitted back to him.
“Don’t worry,” Hyunsik laughed, “my legs are made of strong stuff, I’m sure they’ll be alright if you start to get heavy in your dream.”
“If I hurt you, then you’ll wake me, won’t you?”
“You won’t hurt me; I promise you that.”
Peniel:
Your head shook as Peniel held up one of the cushions from the sofa. “Won’t that be more comfortable for you if you want to sleep?”
Your head shook in reply to him as he placed the pillow back down, “I want to lay on you, I don’t want to lay on a cushion,” you whispered with a laugh.
Peniel’s head shook in confusion back across to you, “I really don’t understand how my bony legs can be comfortable for you to sleep on, don’t my muscles dig in at all.”
“A little,” you admitted, “but I like how they feel though?”
“Do they feel strong? Like they’re supporting you?”
Your head nodded in response to his questions, “it’s like having a firm pillow under my head, I don’t feel like I’m going to go anywhere when I’m in your lap.”
“I’d catch you if you did fall though,” he sweetly told you, offering you a wide smile, “are you absolutely sure that you’re cosy?”
“I’m sure, you don’t need to worry about me.”
“You know that I always worry about you.”
Sungjae:
Your smile was wide as you looked up to meet the eyes of the figure whose lap you had just laid down in. “Yes?” Sungjae laughed down to you.
The smile on his face turned up too as he studied the innocent look in your expression. “You don’t mind, do you?” You asked, nuzzling further into his lap.
His head shook as he supported you with a hand against the top of your head, “it’s hard for me to say that I do mind when you’ve already decided to lay yourself in my lap.”
“That’s why I asked after,” you smiled, “you can’t say no.”
“I can annoy you whilst you lay in my lap though.”
Your head shook as Sungjae jolted his leg just once. “I’m tired,” you whined, desperate to rest in Sungjae’s lap to try and get more comfortable.
“Go to sleep if you’re tired,” Sungjae grinned, keeping his leg still, “I’ll give you a shake when I head up to bed if you want me to.”
“Are you sure that you don’t mind me laying here?”
When He’s Scared That You’ll Leave Him ~ BTOB Reaction
Eunkwang:
Your smile was soft as you looked across the table to where Eunkwang was sat, watching him stare off into the distance. With one call of his name, he blurted out everything as he prepared to head off on tour.
Your smile quickly dropped as you struggled to find the words. “You’re really worried that you’ll come back from tour and I won’t be here anymore?”
“Two months is a long time,” Eunkwang reminded you.
“And two months isn’t going to make me stop loving you or decide not to be with you,” you assured him too, “you know that I’ll be here waiting for you.”
Eunkwang pushed his plate away as he relaxed back in his chair. “I don’t get why, you’ll get bored, right? Not having me around.”
“I will, but I know you’ll be coming back home too.”
“You’re really not going to go anywhere whilst I’m on tour?” Eunkwang asked once again, wanting to make absolutely sure of what you had told him.
“I promise,” you smirked in reply, “I know you’re worried and concerned, but there really is no need to be, I’ll be right here with you.”
A slow nod of the head followed as Eunkwang began to reassure himself. “I’m sorry, I’ve just got so many thoughts right now.”
“It’s alright, you’re allowed to be worried Eunkwang.”
Minhyuk:
A head coming down and resting into your lap brought your eyes down, although your smile was wide, the expression on Minhyuk’s face was far from cheerful, instantly beginning to worry you as you met his eyes.
You studied Minhyuk for a few moments before clearing your throat, “what’s got you looking all doom and gloom all of a sudden.”
“Do you think we should settle?” He suddenly asked.
“What’s brought that on? Are you not happy with where we are right now?” You enquired, getting anxious as to where the conversation was going.
Minhyuk’s head quickly shook in reply to you, “it’s not that, I’m just worried that you want to settle down, but I’m stopping us.”
“I love the place that we’re in right now together.”
“Really?” He giggled, his smile flashing momentarily. “I was beginning to think you’d leave me if we didn’t hurry and take the next step together.”
“We’ll take that step when we’re both ready,” you insisted, “i’m in no rush, and certainly in no rush to leave you either Min.”
His head nodded as he listened to you, “I’m pretty relieved to hear you say that, I’ve been making myself worry for such a long time.”
“Don’t worry, trust me, I’m not going anywhere.”
Changsub:
The feeling of a hand sliding into yours made your body freeze up, glancing across to Changsub behind you. His sudden affection took you by surprise, looking at him cluelessly until he looked back at you.
Your eyes narrowed in his direction as you tried to figure out what was going on. “Are you alright? Your grip is pretty tight right now on me Chang.”
“I’m just holding your hand,” he mumbled in reply.
“If you’re sure.” Your head nodded, looking around as you spotted a group of guys. “There’s nothing that’s made you nervous is there, by any chance?”
A faint sigh came from Changsub as he looked at you again, “I’m nervous that there’s so many better guys for you constantly around us.”
“Where are they? I definitely don’t see anyone.”
“You’re just trying to be nice,” Changsub chuckled, but your head shook back at him, “I bet I could find about ten just in this room alone you know.”
“That’s ridiculous,” you scoffed, “there’s no one here, or anywhere, that I would want to be with, that’s why it’s your hand that I’m holding.”
A hum came from Changsub as you began to get him aligned with your way of thinking. “There’s things that make me nervous everywhere.”
“Don’t be nervous, you’re the only one for me.”
Hyunsik:
Your eyes widened in surprise as Hyunsik apologised to you, clueless as to where it had come from. What came next though, an admission of fear and concern, was something that you never expected to hear.
Once he finished speaking, you shuffled closer to him straight away. “Have I ever made you feel as if I don’t want to be with you? Like I want to leave you.”
“No, you’ve never done that,” he assured you.
“Then what have you got to be scared of?” You then pushed, “I know we’ve not spent as much time together recently, but these things happen in relationships.”
A slight nod of the head came from Hyunsik in reply to you, “it doesn’t happen as much as it’s happened to us, and that’s all my fault.”
“We’ve both been busy, but we’re both still here.”
“That’s true,” he murmured, feeling your arm drape across his shoulders as you tried to calm Hyunsik down. “I guess I’m just scared one day you’ll get fed up.”
“No way,” you chuckled in disbelief, “do you really think that I could ever get fed up? If anything, I love how busy you are.”
At last, as you wanted, the corners of Hyunsik’s smile turned up, “you always seem to know what to say to cheer me up.”
“That’s because I know you far too well.”
Peniel:
An apologetic smile formed on Peniel’s face as he came home and saw you looking back at him, a coincidental yawn coming from you. It was the last thing that Peniel needed to see, making him feel even worse.
The early hours of the morning were with you as you tried to sit yourself up. “I thought for a while that maybe you were spending the night at work.”
“You don’t deserve this,” Peniel replied.
“Where did that suddenly come from?” You quizzed, taken aback by his dejected response as you tapped the space just next to you for Peniel to take a seat in.
He cautiously sat down, keeping his distance from you. “You shouldn’t be waiting for me like this, it’s not the sort of relationship you deserve.”
“Don’t I get to be the one to decide what I deserve?”
“Of course,” Peniel agreed, “but that doesn’t stop me feeling bad, it doesn’t stop me from fearing that one day you’ll just give up waiting for me.”
“Peniel,” you whispered, reaching across and taking a hold of his hand, “when have you ever known me to give up on anything?”
A weak smile formed on Peniel’s face as he listened to you, “you promise that I won’t be the first thing you give up on?”
“I promise that I will never give up on you, us.”
Sungjae:
You could feel Sungjae’s eyes on you for quite some time, failing to say a word. You too, didn’t quite know what to say, opting to sit quietly and not say a word until finally Sungjae spoke up, voicing his concerns.
As soon as you stopped listening, your eyes widened and looked across at him. “You’re not saying that you think the two of us should break up, are you?”
“No, no way,” Sungjae responded.
“I don’t understand what’s going on right now,” you admitted to Sungjae, running a hand through your hair, “why can we not find the words with each other anymore?”
Sungjae nodded in agreement with you, “I don’t want things to carry on like this Y/N, I’m scared where things might end up for the two of us.”
“You think that the two of us could break up like this?”
“I don’t want to say it aloud,” Sungjae assured you, offering you a faint smile, “I’m scared that I’ll stop thinking about it and experience it instead.”
“That won’t happen,” you whispered, trying your best to assure yourself too. “We can start working on fixing things, right?”
A hum came from Sungjae in reply to you, “I want to do that more than anything, I don’t want to lose you Y/N.”
“I know, and I don’t want to lose you either Sungjae.”
Your smile was soft as you walked out of the bathroom to see Eunkwang sat on the bed, scrolling through his phone with a pout on his face. “Do you fancy getting a job to do?” You asked as you watched him.
Eunkwang’s eyes lit up as you spoke, nodding his head back across at you. “I’m so bored, I’ll do anything right now.”
“My arms ache right now,” you began to explain to him, “so how would you feel about maybe drying my hair for me? It just needs to be rubbed with the towel for a while.”
Before you even finished speaking, Eunkwang tapped the space beside him on the bed, making room for you to take a seat. “I’ve always wanted to dry your hair; it looks like such a fun thing to do.”
“Today’s your lucky day,” you joked as Eunkwang brought your hair behind your shoulders, taking your towel too and beginning to massage through the locks of your hair.
His eyes were full of concentration as he began to dry your hair, “am I doing this right?” He whispered to you as he focused.
“Yeah, you’re doing a great job Kwang.”
Minhyuk:
You could feel Minhyuk’s eyes watching you as you grabbed your hairdryer, intrigue getting the better of him. “Do you want to give it a try?” You offered, plugging the dryer into the wall and switching it on.
An apprehensive expression appeared on Minhyuk’s face, “are you sure that you can trust me with a hair dryer Y/N?”
“It’s a hairdryer Minhyuk, I’m not giving you a sword,” you chuckled, handing it across to him despite how reluctant he was to take it from you and give drying your hair a try.
He looked at it closely before turning it around so that it was pointing towards your head, “I just don’t want to mess it up, your hair always looks so cool whenever you dry it like this.”
“All you need to do is dry it and it will look just as good,” you insisted, “I know you’re a worrier Minhyuk, but there’s no need to even overthink just drying hair.”
His head nodded as he listened to you, mumbling an apology. “I just need to dry it, it’s no big deal, it’s just your hair I could mess up.”
“You’re not going to mess up a thing.”
Changsub:
A groan escaped from you as you continued to dry through your hair with your towel, willing for it to dry. “Why is it taking forever?” You sighed, looking across the room to where Changsub was sat watching you.
His smile was weak as he heard the frustration in your voice, “do you want to swap? I can try and dry your hair too?”
“Are you sure?” You asked Changsub in reply, noticing his hands extended out and ready to take your towel, “you do realise what a job drying my hair is, don’t you?”
Changsub nodded as he took your towel and then turned you around in front of him. “Secretly, I’ve always wanted to try drying your hair, it seems like a pretty fun thing to try and do.”
“Drying my hair is not fun,” you laughed back across to him, “I think drying my hair could actually pass for a workout with how long it takes to start drying it out properly.”
A hum came from Changsub as he started drying your hair, “I’ve not managed to get to the gym today, so you’re giving me a workout.”
“See, and there is the bonus of this.”
Hyunsik:
You extended your towel out to Hyunsik once you got out the shower, catching the smile that was on his face. “You were the one that lost the bet, so now you get to dry my hair for me,” you reminded him.
You spun around so that Hyunsik could get to your hair, hearing him mumble, “you’ve got too much hair for me to dry.”
“Then you shouldn’t have agreed to dry my hair if you lost the bet,” you teased, nudging against Hyunsik’s sides as he began to take your hair in his hands to dry.
He was far from pleased as he ran his hands along the length of your hair feeling how different it was to his own to dry. “Remind me to never bet on drying your hair for you ever again Y/N.”
“You’ve hardly even started drying it yet,” you chuckled, “this will probably take you a good ten minutes to dry and you’re already complaining,” you added in reply.
A groan could be heard from behind you, “I think I’ll do anything but dry your hair, who knew drying hair could be so tiring?”
“Stop whining and get on with it.”
Peniel:
His eyes were wide as Peniel watched you flick through your hair with your hairdryer, feeling the warm air tickle him as you moved the device around. “You don’t just have to watch; you can have a go too.”
Peniel’s eyes flickered up as you spoke, nervously looking across at you, “you want me to try and dry your hair for you?”
“Why not? I’m not going anywhere so it doesn’t matter if it looks terrible,” you teased, extending your dryer out for Peniel to reach and take a hold of.
You spun around so that Peniel could get a good look at your hair as he took your dryer, “is there a specific way that I’m supposed to do this? You always make drying your hair look so easy Y/N.”
“It just all needs to be dry,” you simply responded to Peniel, “you can hold onto my hair or just let it fall, whatever feels right for you to make drying it all easier for you.”
Peniel hummed as he decided to let your hair fall naturally to dry it, “I really hope you’re not expecting anything fancy from me.”
“I’m sure that you’ll do a fantastic job.”
Sungjae:
You were taken by surprise when a pair of hands pressed to the top of your head, with you just sat with your towel on top of your head. “Sungjae, what are you doing?” You laughed, hearing his giggles.
He began to dry your hair, using your towel to help. “You can’t sit with your towel on top of your head forever you know.”
“I just don’t have the effort to dry my hair,” you admitted, smiling weakly across at Sungjae as he shook his head back across at you, taking your towel.
A hum came from you as Sungjae moved your towel to start drying off the ends of your hair too, “if you’re not going to dry your hair, then it’s a good job that you’ve got me around to do it instead.”
“Do you not mind?” You tentatively asked Sungjae, catching his head still shaking out of the corner of your eye, deciding to make yourself a little more comfortable on the bed.
Sungjae was careful as he moved, taking his job incredibly seriously. “You might not have the effort, but I’ve got the effort to help you.”

Eunkwang:
You couldn’t help but chuckle as you followed Eunkwang’s text, finding him hidden away backstage of the broadcast. “No one’s here,” he smiled, taking a hold of your hand and pulling you closely towards him.
Your hands rested against his chest as you studied his outfit. “Have I told you how good you look in that suit today?”
Eunkwang’s head shook as he leant in towards you, “why don’t you tell me how good I look now whilst we’re on our own?”
His lips brushed against yours, pulling you towards him quickly. However, your kiss didn’t last long when a voice cleared their throat down the corridor, both of you pulling away to see Peniel staring wide eyed.
“We’re needed in five,” he anxiously told Eunkwang.
Eunkwang nodded back at him, “I just can’t catch a break around here.”
A shrug of the shoulders came from Peniel, “one of the managers saw you come down here and told me to get you.”
“Which one?” Eunkwang immediately asked in reply, “I’ll make sure they know that my time with Y/N is not to be messed with.”
“Hyung, you’re really not scaring anyone like that.”
Minhyuk:
A gasp escaped from you as a hand suddenly took yours, moving you around the room so that you were pressed against the wall. “It’s just me,” Minhyuk sniggered, noticing the look of surprise on your face.
Your finger poked against his chest as his smile widened. “What are you trying to do to me?” You scolded him.
Minhyuk’s shoulders shrugged back at you, “I’m actually trying to kiss you seeing as it’s just the two of us that are here now.”
A sigh came from you, silenced by the feeling of Minhyuk’s lips against yours. You thought you were getting pretty lucky, that was until a loud cough came from the doorway of the room, pulling you away.
“You two are impossible,” Sungjae scoffed at you.
Minhyuk stepped back from you, “have you never seen two people kiss?”
Sungjae’s head shook, placing his hand over his heart. “I’m an innocent maknae, do I look like I know what kissing is?”
“From how much action I’ve seen you get, I’d say no,” Minhyuk teased, “shall Y/N and I carry on and show you what it is?”
“No way, I’ll save that info for another day.”
Changsub:
Your head shook as Changsub came towards you as the rehearsal came to a pause, catching the smile on your face. “That’s it, pretend not to be impressed with how good I look,” Changsub teased you.
Your eyes looked away from him, “the boys will be back, they’re only getting a drink, don’t go getting any ideas.”
Changsub sat down beside you, leaning over your frame with his arms either side of you. “Are you going to move me away?”
You tried to speak, but Changsub kissed over your lips before you even had the chance to argue back. Rather than you pulling him away, he was instead moved by Hyunsik who grabbed him straight away.
“This is a communal space,” Hyunsik reminded him.
Changsub shrugged his shoulders in reply, “you guys all left it.”
You sunk down as Hyunsik glanced across at you too. “Now we’re back so you two can distance yourselves again.”
“Why couldn’t you just let me have five minutes?” Changsub asked in despair, “what happened to all being wing men together?”
“You started flying solo, or should I say, with Y/N.”
Hyunsik:
Your smile was wide as you walked across to Hyunsik, placing your hands against his shoulders. “Hello,” he chuckled, glancing past his shoulder to where you stood, noticing the smile that was on your face.
You leant down towards him, resting against his shoulder, “there’s no one else here but the two of us now, you know.”
Hyunsik nodded back at you, taking a look around. “Come sit,” he instructed, pulling you round and straight into his lap.
Straight away, Hyunsik began to press against your cheek, securing you in his lap with his arms around you. He felt pretty lucky, that was until the studio door opened with Minhyuk walking in flustered.
“What are you doing?” He yelled, covering his eyes.
You pushed Hyunsik away from you, “we weren’t doing anything, promise.”
Minhyuk’s head shook as he looked between you both, “you’re lucky that I only came back to pick up my phone.”
“You’re lucky you came in now and not ten minutes later too,” Hyunsik joked, feeling your hand hit against his arm firmly.
“I really did not need to hear that thank you.”
Peniel:
Your smile widened with arms moving to wrap around you, Peniel pressing a kiss to the top of your head. “It’s so much better when they’re not here,” he joked, referring to the fact the dressing room was empty.
Your hands tapped against his chest firmly, “they’re your group members, you can’t say stuff like that about them.”
Peniel’s head shook back at you, “I’ve been waiting for them to hurry up and go somewhere most of the afternoon Y/N.”
Before you could protest, Peniel pressed a kiss to your lips to shut you up. It was an action he repeated until the dressing room door opened, with Changsub staring, knowing that he had interrupted.
“I’m just going to go,” he stuttered to you both.
Peniel’s head shook, “it’s nothing like that, just a cuddle, that’s all.”
Changsub’s head shook too, “I’m not risking it turning into anymore and having to see any of it between you.”
“Do you think we’d do anything with you here?” Peniel chuckled in disbelief, “you must be out of your mind Changsub.”
“I’m not risking it, I’ll tell the others to stay away too.”
Sungjae:
Your head shook at Sungjae as he neared you, holding your hands up to try and push him away. “They’re all busy in the other room,” he tried to tell you, managing to somehow take a hold of your hand.
You tried to yank it away, but Sungjae was too strong. “If we get caught you know that I’ll throw you under the bus.”
A chuckle came from Sungjae as he leant in towards you, “no one is going to catch anything, just relax for a little while.”
It took you a few minutes to relax, and as expected as soon as you did the door to the room opened. A sharp intake of breath came from Eunkwang, covering his mouth dramatically as he looked between you both.
“We only just left,” he scoffed in disbelief at you.
Sungjae shot a glare at him, “you can turn around and leave again then.”
Eunkwang’s head shook, “there is no way I’m leaving now, who knows what you two will get up to left all alone?”
“Move,” Sungjae pleaded with Eunkwang, not caring how weak he looked, “I’ll do anything if you just go away and leave.”
