“ hm? ” it wasn’t as if he had a spare jacket or anything. was she asking for his specifically? she didn’t seem like she was that type. he wondered if she would be offended if he gave her his jacket. he didn’t have a problem with it, though -- it wasn’t as if either of them had a choice.
“ yeah, here. ”
he slipped off his jacket, draping it on her shoulders.
[ text ] Why don’t you go with them, then?

[ text ] you know, it’s hard to play hard to get when you take it so seriously.
looks like it was his lucky day! after that embarrassing and completely dignity-crushing introduction with silver, finally gold had a chance to show off his charm to his neighbor. she was rather attractive, too. he had to really outdo himself in order to make up for that slip-up last time!
...but instead of impressing her, he couldn’t forget about how silver threw him under the bus like that. how dare he meet a hot girl, know she lived next door to them, and not tell him? and to have already befriended her? that completely destroyed any sort of code that ever existed!
taking a breath, gold ran a hand through his hair before catching up to the other, wrapping an arm around her shoulder casually.
“hey, hey!” he smiled, continuing to walk with her as if it was no big deal. “got a minute? i’m kinda curious about something.”

due to gold’s complaining, silver had decided he had to do some grocery shopping. there were some specific things his friend had wanted so he would buy it to appease him. on his walk back, he saw a girl in front of him drop her wallet but hadn’t seemed to notice. quickening his pace, he picked up the item and tapped her on the shoulder. “you dropped this.”
