1/31/17:Band Geek Daily
Another day of incessant torture that is completely unnecessary for anyone but is required by law so therefore everyone just deals with the torture just so they can get out of it only to be sucked back in by either college or a full time job. Anyway today in my boring torturous life I suffered through math class and didn't really pay attention because I have the inability to pay attention to things that bore me also a Hispanic in my math class was making fun of other hispanics...America everyone,America. For band we played an A flat scale and an E flat scale five thousand times but then continue to play it another five thousand times except in different patterns and different ways,and then on to the song that we're playing right now,which literally sounds like a bunch of out of tune children being murdered because the trumpets do not know how to play their instruments at all,I also got yelled at for playing my part wrong....if it helps the other girl in my section played it wrong as well, anyway so therefore me and the other girl in my section took our instruments home today so we can practice the part we screwed up tonight at home(so fun lugging a Euphonium across the parking lot and up two flights of stairs) sadly the trombones did not take their instruments home so most likely us Euphoniums will get yelled at for them not being responsible and not taking their instruments home without being told to by the upperclassmen and the band director. In my third period class we just finished up the lab we started yesterday with some nice comments from a percussion player because I couldn't get the water in the sink turned on correctly and ended up spraying everyone with in a five foot distance of the sink. We also got our lab assignment for tomorrow as well. In my fourth period we did a quiz that I most likely botched because I didn't have enough time to study after I did my math homework last night. -BandGeek523
