( — Like any other day, Mark was walking home from his secretive meeting with fellow spies. News got around that he was now residing in Seoul, Korea and now his safety was in peril. Of course, he had his boss watching over him but, at that moment there was no one. It was pitch black, several shadows circled around the unsuspecting male. He heard soft rustling of leaves and turned around, only to face his rival spies. They had found him. Not even a split second later, his body was hitting the ground harshly. Several grunts were released as the men around him used god-knows-what to injure his body. The pain exploded all over his body, cries of pain filtering past his lips but even they were muffled by the boot stepping down on him. He was helpless, and he was sure he was going to die.
[ Stella was late, of course. For the last two weeks, she had been at work from six in the morning to midnight, sometimes even forgetting to eat in between. The Spring 2015 collection was soon to be released and every detail had to be perfect before she would ever allow it to go out on the runway. As she walked out of her office, a gust of cold wind smacked her in the face. She brought up her scarf to cover her mouth, checking her phone to see the time. 11:01 pm - today she left earlier than usual. If she hurried, she could probably catch one of the last trains headed towards her apartment.
Her heels clacked on the pavement, her eyes wandering every so often around her to check if anyone was behind her. It was suspicious why there was no one around the area. The silence of the evening killed her, with only several cars driving by quietly to their homes. As she was about to turn the corner to reach the subway station, she heard a muffled noise not too far from where she was. Usually, she would ignore the sound and head straight home before Carey was to call again, asking if she was alright and for her whereabouts. But this sound was different; it called her attention. Something in her stomach told her she needed to stop by and see what was going on.
When she got closer to the noise, she heard the commotion going on. It sounded like... a fight? In Seoul? It was so odd, as she had never imagined this could happen here. Of course, no place was safe, but she had lived here never even seeing anything related to this. Stella knew someone was getting hurt. Before she could make herself known, she hastily grabbed a taser she had bought for herself, praying that she would be able to help whoever was getting hurt.
Stella ran, taser in hand, pointing it at whoever was there - hoping the person getting electrocuted was not the victim themself. Seconds passed and she could see the young man lying on the ground, helpless and bleeding and bruised. Quickly, she ran to pick him up, leaving the tasered men behind and ran with the poor kid as quickly as she could. ]
