I drew book Eva’s hair on show Eva

First post ever here. I had to draw her book hair on her to just get a glimpse at what could’ve been. Put it on Reddit but figured it’d be enjoyed here too. I removed her spidery lashes as a final touch lol. I want more people to do this it was fun like those Disney goth edits lol

with the whole Wondla show thing I wanna take a moment to talk about my favorite thing from the books.

Which is that the message isn't

"we need to exist in harmony with nature",

but instead

"we need to exist in harmony with nature, but nature is brutal and sometimes existing in harmony means participating in that brutality, and that's ok."

Eva 9 is the link between the civilized aliens/humans, and the wilderness, but that doesn't mean she causes no harm. Eva hunts, and kills, and can be vicious when she has to. But at the same time she is kind, and compassionate, she doesn't go out of her way to cause unnecessary harm.

Eva 9 has that connection to nature, not only because of her love, but also because she is just as brutal as that nature.
