Can an object perform?

I see my object laying cold in the Museum of Capitalism (all museums are of capitalism).

This is a performatic-object. It is performing to the viewer. That view that look at an object for a second, and the viewer that looks at it beyond it. It is a symbolic-object. A symbolical bread. All religions have a symbolic bread in the union with matter and spirit. I have asked myself many times: Can I Break Bread with the viewer?

This is a performatic-object. I asked myself many times: Can an object perform, like an actor that lands his body to signify? This is a performatic-object. It is not abstract. It is concrete. It is made of concrete. But it will deteriorate in front of the viewer eyes. It is made with barbed wire and it won’t be shared, it won’t be touched; it won’t be eaten -as many bread won’t be eaten, won’t be shared: they will mold and decomposed without being shared.

My “Breaking Bread” is also made with dough, mold, and dirt. It will, like dirt, wash alway in erosion, consumed like our planet Terra (dirt). It is a spiritual-object. It alludes to a spiritual search for survival through shared resources; through a communion with the other, all others. It is a symbolic communion.
