The world is becoming more environmentally conscious these days, and with the rate at which technology is evolving – it is bringing light to options in personal care and hygiene to consumers everywhere. The (USA Manufactured) Anigan™ Evacup is a reusable (eco-friendly) option of period protection that allows the average female to take one small step towards not only their better feminine health & comfort- but also for the greater good of environmental health.
What is the Anigan™ Evacup?
The Anigan™ Evacup is a feminine hygiene option that provides protection against leakage during the time of menstruation. It is a soft, menstrual cup that catches menstrual fluid instead of absorbing it as with other options such as pads and tampons. The Anigan™ Evacup can be reused time and time again and usually lasts several years on average.
The Evacup is more comfortable than wearing a tampon and more discreet than using a sanitary napkin for period protection. It also is one of the only alternatives of all feminine hygiene protection that is safe for the environment. Above all the Evacup can save you a ton of expense! As opposed to the $93.00 annual average spent on menstrual products such as pads and tampons, one Evacup can last up to several years with the initial investment of about $22.00.

I tried my Evacup out today and it was pretty great. I knew it was there but didn’t necessarily feel it. 9 hours straight with no leakage which never happens with pads so. I was way less self conscious than I usually am on my period as well so that was super great. I still have to get the hang of taking it out, but I think I will eventually 100% rely on it. btw Evacup is a great choice for a starter cup because you can get 2 for $30 on Amazon (1 divacup is $40) and it comes in super cute colors with really cute pouches and minimal packaging. If you want to try a menstrual cup I highly recommend this one.
So this is the second period i have since i bought the cup, however the dirst period that i have the chance to use the cup everyday. I used the cup today and all was reletively well! Im even learning to take it out quicker!!! :D Im pretty exited. The only thisng is that i guess im still not used to the fact that i can have this for 12+ hours haha My brain thinks that i might get tss, though i know that it is soooooooooo unlikely, its almost impossible. But still. I jave that feeling on the back of my head. I suppose I'll get used to it eventually right? Ill update tomorrow c:
TMI because I know everyone wants to know. Talk of period related stuff below the cut.
Day 1 of using my first menstrual cup (on day 1 of my cycle, sometimes it changes throughout a complete cycle). Yes, I’m going to have to cut the grip stem because my cervix is low. I’m using the size 2 EvaCup by Anigan. It MIGHT be a little too firm for my liking (or I just need to get used to the way it feels, but it’s not completely uncomfortable. It’s actually A LOT nicer/less noticeable than a tampon) because I somewhat feel it pressing on my bladder.
I’m not completely sure if I have it opened or not (forgot to turn it). So I’ll see if I have leaks or not.
I have been using the Eva Cup for about two weeks now, and have put it through what would be a normal period for me. I bought the one that is recommended for women under 30 who do not have children. I should also note this is my first experience ever using a menstrual cup of any type or brand. And.... It is absolutely perfect for me (and my vagina)! I have not had any issue with it leaking. I wipe with a wet nap after inserting to clear any excess blood that shed during insertion. con...
PT. 2 … I have had a pretty light flow but even changing it out every two-three hours blood definitely collects in there and no where else. You can kind of feel it when it expands in you, indicating that it’s right where it needs to be. I would say for a $24 menstrual cup compared to others $30-$40 it does it’s job and does it’s job very well. I’m happy to be tampon and pad free two weeks later with no mess! (I am a real person too, just anon because this is so TMI)
I totally understand about the anon! It’s been a few months, so when I went to go get the Eva cup… I can’t find it. I’m looking at other brands now, but thank you so much for your insight!
ETA: I found an EvaCup! I got the large size, since the large is most similar in dimensions to my old cup, the fit of which I liked.
