She does not have a hobby she is properly devoted to (day drinking and sleeping takes a lot of time), but these are some things she is into

eating out and people watching,

theatre,

flower arrangements (not very public about it),

flora & fauna sketching (not very public about it neither),

occult books and translations from other languages;

chess, similar board games andlogic puzzles.

Ariadne: of wine and thread

Mistress of the labyrinth

Cretan princess in Greek mythology. She fell in love with Athenian hero Theseus and betrayed her family and kingdom by helping Theseus enter the labyrinth, kill the Minotaur, and escape. By one of the versions, she gets abandoned by Theseus on the deserted island of Naxos, where Dionysus finds her and decides to marry. She becomes Cretan Goddess and is usually associated with labyrinths, vegetation, mazes, faths, fertility, wine, snakes and passion.

Since Ev does not have any mythological inspiration from the beginning, I had to do some reversed engineering and think of some associations for her.

She is coming from the area inspired by Northern Africa/Southern Sicily/Crete of the Ancient Greek & Roman times.

Story of Ariadne is full of impulsive decisions and radical changes which suits both Ev’s personality and the archetypes of her patron arcana.

Ariadne provides rational help to Theseus who is clearly brave but not very good at planning, which represents Ev’s analytical mind.

Some of the common Ariadne’s symbols are serpents and bull. If you look closely tattoo on Ev’s back reminds of both snakes and horns.

Ariadne ends up with the god of wine [selfexplanatory].
