Judith: That looks like it’s made out of coal.
Quentin: It tasted like coal.
Edward: You ate a vase.
Quentin (head in his hands): Honestly, at this point, me eating a small vase is the least of my problems.
Evan: In Russia, sometimes, when a horse dies, they cremate it and make a vase out of the ashes. Hence the coal taste and horse picture. You ate horse ashes and mistook it for chocolate.
Quentin: ...Me eating an entire cremated horse still does not even scratch the surface of my problems.
