Bonus Round: Evan Silver

[Evan]: “Hey! Hold up.”

[Pholy]: He stops after a few more paces, turning to face you. “What’s up? I was just heading to the gym.”

[Evan]: “Yeah, no, I figured. Sorry to startle you, it’s just that I got these flowers yesterday from Omirron.”

[Pholy]: “You proposing, Silver?”

[Evan]: Chuckling lightly, he flashes a grin. “No, I usually save that bit for later. I thought you’d get better use out of them than I would, Ty mentioned Sitanna’s a flower lover.”

[Pholy]: He seems the slightest bit annoyed for a second before easing. “Didn’t realize I was that obvious.”

[Evan]: “A little obvious, but why not go for what you want, you know? All of us just want to be happy.”

[Pholy]: “And what about you? - I mean. Do you think I should give them to her?”

[Evan]: “I don’t really know her. But I know she’s one of the only people on this station that can get you out of the gym. Gotta be worth something.”

[Pholy]: He’s quiet for a moment or four before cracking a small lopsided smile. “I appreciate it, Silver. I owe you one.”

Pholy Wynter will remember this.

0800 Hours - Evan Silver - Day 2

How will Evan spend his second day? His fate is sealed.

[foxsimthings]

[Ty]: “Oh, come on! What the hell?!”

⮞ You doing okay over here?  Woah, watch your language young man.  Jeez, alright, I’ll leave.

[Ty]: “Uuugh. Yeah, sorry. I’m trying to beat this level and I can’t get past it. This game is stupid man... you any good at stuff like this? You wanna tag in?”

 Uh, I mean, I had a Tamagotchi when I was a kid? ⮞ Please. Scoot over kid, let the master work. [crack your knuckles, painfully]  I can give it a try, I guess. I’m not that into games.

[Ty]: Ty laughs and scoots aside on the couch, offering over the controller. “Okay, damn. I like your hustle. Alright so for this level you have to like... jump-duck-jump at the fire spinny things or you’ll die.”

 Jump... jump... duck jump? Wait, I’m confused. Spinny fire things? ⮞ Jump duck jump. How do you uh... jump?  You smell nice.

[Ty:] Grinning, he moves over to show Evan how to work the controls. “Here, see? Jump, duck, this is punch, this one is to sprint. See? You got it, like that. Now the flame thingies are coming up when the platform stops. Ready? Aaaand-”

 [perform jump-duck-jump flawlessly.] ⮞ [misremember it as duck-duck-jump and die.]  [mention you aren’t wearing any underwear]

[Ty]: “Wow... yeah, you suck at this. Like, really really suck at it. I guess you can’t teach old dogs new tricks, huh?” He’s grinning again. Boy, his teeth are nice and white.

⮞ Hey, come on! I’m not that old! Besides, I look pretty good for eighty-three, don’t I?  [stare] Uh, what were you saying?  [bark]

[Ty]: “Uh huh, you look great. C’mon, give it back, you suck. You’re gonna fuck up my high score, old timer.”

Evan has gained 1  ❤️ with Ty Irizarry!

⮞ Admiring the decor? It was mostly Boomer and Azeran. Mena’s been down in the lab, mostly, and Pholy... um, I’m not sure he has anything aside from his bag and his shoes? Did you ever see Alien? It’s pretty good! I mean, not what you want to watch when you’re about to go into space, but... Hey Servobot, can you point me toward the cafeteria?

[Charlie]: “You’ve been making yourselves at home. Most visitors don’t stay long enough to put up decorations, and you lot have barely been here twenty-four hours. You move quick.”

Well uh... like I said, it was mostly Azeran and Boomer. They’re go-getters, huh? ⮞ It’s Charlie, right? Something we can do for you here in the visitors bunks, or just checking in on us? Uh... yeah. I guess.

[Charlie]: “Just making sure nobody’s getting into trouble. People seem to think there’s no security on this station. I am the security.”

⮞ That’s a hell of a job, one of you and a whole station to look after! How do you find it? Only one person on security, huh? Boomer will be interested to hear that. Are you a robot like Cara or are you like a... cyborgy... humanybot?

[Charlie]: She puffs, sounding a bit irritable. “Just keep your nose clean, mm? I would hate to have to show you how I find it.

Are you threatening me? Please, I could take you on for sure! ⮞ Hey, you know, I’m not your enemy here. You came to our bunks and you’re acting pretty hostile. Are... you okay?

[Charlie]: She seems taken aback by his honestly. Annoyed, at first, but sheepish a moment later. “I’m sorry. We have a lot of strangers come through, I... the crew needs protecting. I can’t protect anyone if I’m off goofing around like the rest of them, you know? But you didn’t deserve that. And... really, I am sorry.”

Yeah, well, too little too late. They seem pretty capable, why do they need so much protecting? ⮞ [smile] It’s okay, it happens. You’re looking out for your team. I’m headed for some coffee, you want to come? 

[Charlie]: ... coffee. I... okay. Sure.

Evan has experienced no change in relationship with Charlie.
