Fionn cracked his neck and rolled his shoulders, waiting for both the trainers and his partner to arrive. The trainers had thought that, both since he’d been here for just over a year at this point and that he could also fly, that he’d be able to offer the other flying super in the Tower some pointers on how to stay coordinated. Sure, they flew using different methods, but Fionn at least owed it to the kid to help him fly in a straight line. Or hover without wobbling. He wasn’t sure exactly how much help the other super needed.
The door opened, and he turned on his heel to face the newcomer, grinning already. “Ready?” he asked.
Drinks & Closing || Brooke & Evan
It hurt coming back here, what the hell was she thinking? Well for once she wasn't thinking about herself, she wanted to see her daughter. Wanted to see how she was doing, how she was growing up with her parents. At first she thought that her parents would be happy to see her but she had been dead wrong and here was accepting money from her own father to keep away from the one reason why she came back to this god forsaken town. She just wish that they could see that she had changed for the better, she wasn't how she was when she was teenager. She was different and had changed, but they only saw her past, not who she was now. And that alone honestly hurt her. Because not only where they denying a chance to get to know the real her but also denying the blonde a chance to know her own daughter. She had a plan though, she was going to get herself and her daughter out of this town. Brooke had been saving the money that her father had given her, and the money she earned from being the bartender at the Green Dove Pub. There was still one question that remained on her mind, would her daughter actually want to leave with her after she told her everything? Would she accept Brooke and just pick up and go? That worried the blonde but she just figured it was the pills talking. Sighing to herself, she laid there in bed, she had to work tonight. So what the hell was she doing up so damn earlier? Something was bugging her and it just wasn't the fact that she wasn't a Ford anymore. It was the fact that she couldn't be there for Imogen when she needed her mother. Sighing, she forced herself to get some rest, she was going to need it since she was working till close.
Waking up around four, she finally made her way out of bed, going over to the bathroom. She stripped down, taking a shower. After her shower, she shut off the water, reaching out, she grabbed the towel, wrapping it around her body. Going back into her bedroom, she picked out what she was going to wear tonight, tight skinny jeans, and black tank top and matching bra and panties. Drying herself off, she got dressed, the next thing she did was her hair. Making her way into the kitchen next, she made herself a bagel and ate. Grabbing her keys and jacket on her way out. Sliding on the red leather jacket, she went over to her car, getting in. Brooke drove down to the Green Dove Pub, parking in the back, that was the way she went inside. Hanging up her jacket, she took out the pill bottle, biting down on her bottom lip, taking out one of the pills. Looking at it, she popped it back into the bottle, placing the pill bottle back into her jacket. Making her way out to the bar, she started working. "What can I get for you?" She asked, with a smile on her face. It seemed like a really good and easy night, almost, no fights happened, drinks were served. Customers were happy and Brooke was happy to work next to Evan, he was more than a boss to her, he was her friend, the two were close. Closing time came, they kicked out the last remaining single person, locking the door after he left. “Do you want to get the drinks before we clean, during or afterwards?” She asked, looking over at Evan, there was a smile that rested on her face.
Sharing Is Not An Option | Evan and Georgia
Many people could do stuff. Lots of stuff, and do it well. Some played a piano, or some other instrument, and some could build things with their hands. Others could sing a melody or act their way through life. Those were the sort of things well respected people could be talented at. Of course, there were other talents, being a skilled lover, a caring mother...Georgia though, had one talent, pure and simple (asides from her ability to bullshit her way through life) and that was eating. People didn't believe it, considering how slim she was, but she ate enough to blow up like a pig. She was blessed with a fast metabolism, and so that made her totally relentless with food. And so, an opportunity to eat was never something she was going to turn down.
Evan was another new face to the house. Another one. There had been a sudden influx that she hadn't expected, though admittedly she hadn't been surprised. With the heat and the sun, it had been inevitable that people would jump on board. Some she had liked, some she had accepted and some she'd seen as potential friends. Evan was one of those potential, potential friends. However, before a friendship or anything could even be thought of, he'd have to see her eating habits. Parker had seen it and had certainly been disgusted, though possibly not disturbed. Evan clearly didn't believe that when it came to food, she was half pig half human.
And so, dashing into her room, Georgia tore her way through the many piles of stuff, looking for her purse and for any discount vouchers that she could put towards the pizza's. Georgia knew she had to pay her wack. She refused to owe people. And so, when she eventually found the money, throwing her arm up in triumph because she'd managed to battle her way through the mound of stuff, Georgia moved to the door and padded her way downstairs, before flopping down on the sofa as she waited for Evan
