We'd not long completed our request from the federation to search the newly discovered ruins in Daten.
CROW : Emma, were you falling asleep just now?
EMMA : Yeah…… I don't know if it's because of our big adventure, but the couch has never felt so soft.
I push myself up on the sofa, and Crow sits next to me, flashing a smile that shows no sign of weariness.
CROW : Was it the door we needed to solve a riddle to open, or the golem that chased us? Man, there really was a lot going on this time around.
CROW : The thrill, the romance, it was so exciting, no complaints here!
EMMA : Fufu, it was really tiring and troublesome. But if you asked me how I feel, the first thing I'd have to say is I had a lot fun.
EMMA : How was it, Evan? This was your first time going on an archaeological expedition, wasn't it?
EVAN : …….Tiring, both physically and mentally.
EVAN : It's not every day that you're hit by so many crises one after another.
CROW : But, wasn't it fun? Adventure!
CROW : Maybe if you enjoyed it, we could go on the next one together!
EVAN : … Hm, if it's that important to you.
EMMA : (You're not being honest with yourself, Evan.)
Evan averts his gaze to hide his smile from Crow, and a message comes through on my Keeper's Board.
EMMA : (From Federation HQ? What's this…..)
EMMA : ……Both of you. Looks like our next adventure is already a go!
I show Crow and Evan my board.
EMMA : A new limestone cave was discovered near the ruins in Daten.
CROW : "Like the previously explored ruins, there is a possibility that special gimmicks and magic have been used in the cave."
CROW : "I want you to explore it before you leave Daten." ……Ha.
CROW : Haha, that's some crazy luck, what were we just saying?
CROW : Alright, let's get ready and get going! Both of you!
EVAN : Wait, when I said I'd go I didn't mean right now.
CROW : You know the kind of fun and sense of accomplishment that only adventure can give you? I want Evan to taste more of that.
EMMA : See, the more we understand each other, the easier it might be for you to work together while possessed.
EMMA : Of course, I'm not forcing you to go. But it'd make me happy if I could go with you, Evan.
EVAN : If we're going, hurry it up.
EVAN : Don't get me wrong. If I refuse, I'll just have to put up with you two asking me to join you again and again in the future.
EVAN : You guys just can't take no for an answer.
Crow and I smile at each other as Evan turns away with his arms crossed.
EMMA : (What kind of adventures are we going to have with you two?)
