1. When you have a whole day to do whatever you want, what do you do?
Lounge in my pajamas and write. I might do a bit of reading, too. Maybe go to the movies.
2. What’s your favorite holiday tradition?
Getting together and having a big delicious meal with my family. And decorating the Christmas tree. I love decorating the tree.
3. What movie do you quote from the most?
Depends. Right now, assorted MST3K episodes. Some days, Anchorman or Just Friends.
4. Have you actually seen that movie or just learned the quotes by osmosis?
Oh, I've seen them several times. Several times.
Hell no. I have intense awful motion sickness and that's most likely the worst thing I could possibly do, unless I wanted to be sprawled out and nauseated on the ground for the rest of the day.
6. What’s your favorite Girl Scout cookie?
Back when I could eat them (I'm on a low-carb diet now), my favorite was the chocolate peanut butter cookies that had basically a vanilla wafer inside. I love thin mints too. And the lemonade ones they did for a while.
7. What’s your dream vacation?
One week at the beach, one week at the mountains; a little place in each location that would let me keep my dog and had internet access and power, and plenty of supplies (groceries, etc.) so I could just write for the whole time, and go for walks and occasionally go have dinner somewhere pretty.
8. If you had the chance to travel back in time to meet your grandparents when they were young, would you? Why or why not?
I'm not sure. As this is a hypothetical, though, I think I would. They're all dead now (my last surviving grandparent died in 2013) and I think if I did go back and meet them, it would just be casually, without introducing myself. Like I'd run into my grandmother at a grocery store or something and just say a little hello and just watch her for a little while.
9. What’s something that hits you right in the feelings no matter what?
I… hmm. Self-sacrifice, intentional self-sacrifice, I think. Especially when it's to save or protect a loved one.
10. What do you like best about yourself and why?
I find it much easier to criticize myself. Hmm. I suppose that my memory lets me pick up some things pretty easily without intentionally trying to memorize them. That's been useful.
1. What does your favorite scarf look like? (If you don't have a favorite scarf, describe your favorite article of clothing.)
2. When you go to a coffee shop, what do you usually order?
3. If you could play any musical instrument instantly, which one would you choose and why?
4. What's your favorite smell?
5. When you're sick, what do you prefer to eat (if you're able to eat)?
6. What's your favorite (card, board, or whatever) game to play with another person?
7. You not-so-accidentally kill someone. Who do you call to help you hide the body?
8. What are your three favorite things to read about in fiction (professional or fan)?
9. What is sure to turn you off/make you lose interest in reading something?
10. What's the movie you can (or have) watch over and over until you practically have it memorized and you'd still keep watching it?
