~~Possible Spoilers for the Entire Broken Heart Series~~~
So this isn't really a theory, more of just a possible realization. Someome probably already thought of this BUT I think I know why ACFTL is called A Curse for True Love!!
What if the 3 titles of the series are in Jacks's POV?
Let me explain......
Once Upon a Broken Heart----
Jacks first meets Evangeline when she has a broken heart, and she comes to him to try and heal her Broken Heart (ie stopping Luc and Merisol's wedding.) Of course she is still Broken Hearted. Fast forward she meets Apollo (~her heart is trying to mend itself but it's forced because she knows Apollo doesn't really love her) She starts to fall for Jacks, and yet her heart breaks again at the end of OUABH because of Jacks's Betrayal.
Ballad of Neverafter-----
This book is all about The Ballad of the Archer and the Fox (ie Jacks is the real Archer and Eva his Little Fox. Jacks, at one point says "Ballads never end happily" AND YET this whole book is really about Eva and Jacks falling for eachother and thier Ballad!! At the end of Ballad we know for a fact Eva admits to loving Jacks and let she honest we know Jacks loves Eva. Fairytale usually end with "And they lived Happily ever after" so Jacks and Ev being torn apart by Apollo at the end after Jacks resets time and saves her is thier "Neverafter" because she forgets him.
Enter....A Curse For True Love----
I 1000000% believe Eva is Jacks True Love, and he, hers. Yes, Tella made his heart beat, but Eva made him FEEL. I believe they are True Loves because they choose eachother (like Tella chose Legend) This entire book will basically be about Evangeline being Cursed with her memory loss, and undoubtedly Jacks fighting to get her memories back to her so The Archer and his Fox can Finally have the Happily Ever After they deserve.
So I think of it like Jacks saying, "Once Upon a time Evangeline Fox had a Broken Heart when we met. From the beginning the story Of us, Our Ballad, was seen as a (of) Neverafter, one without a happy ending like the story of my First Fox, and my Curse. But I believe Evangeline is my (for) One True Love."-----Something like that
Anyway I just thought of all that after I was able to read the Sneek Peak of the first 4 Chapters! I won't spoil what I read besides the dedication but OMG OCTOBER 24TH NEEDS TO BE HERE NOW!!!!
