HEEEYYYY HAPPY FOUR YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO @evanjellicent AND I’S SOUL SILVER BADGE QUEST ADVENTURE 

On this day four years ago he found his first badge quest target, a sparkly Cyndaquil, and on tomorrow’s date, I found my own sparkly Cyndaquil!! 

It’s been an eventful four years on each of our journeys, I lost my very first full odds random encounter shiny, and he’s hit double odds way too many times (including a 38k hunt what the heck), but we’re about the same place now (even though I’m one ahead I’m sorry;;) and we have every intention of finishing this quest!!

Honestly my badge quest has been the most fun I’ve ever had playing through my favorite region, and Jeremy is probably the coolest dude I could have done this with! I am forever thankful for him inspiring me to get into shiny hunting seriously, and super glad he’s still around to share excitement when either of us finds something!!

Anyway before this gets any longer and rambly-er I’m gonna stop here to say thank you so much dude for everything and I hope your darn game starts picking up the pace so we can finish this thing together!!

In response to your reblog of my bq I say: A FULL BOX WHY LOL except no I commend you a ton because you're sticking to getting your original target and that is so respectable. I couldn't bring myself to do that, if I'm honest(mostly cause my file hates me and wants me to triple odds constantly) but dude you're super lucky so hopefully your targets will start showing up first phase and you can join me in Kanto soon!!

It’s not even that I’m just going for my targets to be honest with you. I just keep going on side hunts because there’s soooo many shinies that I really wanna have and well… as you can see I can’t really keep myself on task LOL. It was just Spinarak that I kept going for until I got it, and that broke my soul, so I can hardly manage to do phases anymore. 

Believe me I keep thinking to myself why do I have a near full box… why am I doing this… do I ever plan on completing this badge quest?? EVER?? So really I should probably kick my butt into gear and just get through Johto already.

I really can’t wait to see your Kanto phase of your BQ! Hopefully this half is much much kinder to you! Wishing you the best RNG!

Hardy, Serious, and Careful?

Hardy- What was your first pokemon game and when? my first pokemon game was pokemon leafgreen. tho i would not know when i got it. i think i was around 6 or 7 or something but im not sure. all i can remember about it tho was actually my brother playing it and me watching over his shoulder. when he beat the league and caught mewtwo we started the game over and that time i could play the game so we stuck with a female avatar that time. we found out that there was allot of other stuff to after beating the league next to catching mewtwo so my fondest memories were discovering all the 7 islands together with my brother.

Serious- Cool, you’re suddenly a gym leader. Which type is your specialty and what is your team? DRAGON TYPES! dragon types have always been my favorite type and i am just really drawn to them. i would definitelly have a garchomp and a haxorus on my team! i would probably also have a flygon a kingdra and a dragonair.

Careful- Have you ever played your games in nuzlocke mode? i have not yet. thought i have a feeling i would not be that great at it and even feel bad for letting my pokemon “die”. also im not really fond of the “you can only catch the first pokemon you encounter on that route rule” so if i ever were to play one i would probably alter the rules a little

Just take a visit to the Cleveland, Ohio area during December-March. It's an absolute doozy to be in.

I do love myself some doozy kind of weather, now only to get my sibling to ride with me upstate for a week...
