I agree, that’s why I thought Eve was in love with Sonya before KC was released. When I read that Ptolemus was engaged to Elane, I figured it’s rather unlikely that she’s the girl Eve loves whereas Evanya had the interesting problem of Ptolemus having killed Sonya’s grandmother. I wrote a fic on this.

But Aveyard decided that both Elane and Eve are having convenience marriages for show which is a thing opressed gay people do irl too, sometimes. After all, Eve really wanted to be queen and marrying a prince was the only way to become one … But such marriages have consequences on all people involved and I hope Storm Born will feature those arising problems or at least point out the attempts to avoid them.

Ok so like bros… ngl the funniest thing i learned today is how silverfish (yeah those little silver bugs) do their mating dance. so like first they touch each other with their lil vibrating antennae, and then FOR SOME ABSOLUTE UNHOLY REASON the male just… starts running away?? and the female has to chase him down. i’m like ????? i don't — this breaks me. i can't stop giggling like a total idiot.
