Red Queen Characters and the Modern Trends and Activities They Would Like
Mare: Kendall Jenner, White Tank Top Trend: Mare has been wearing those since she was old enough to dress herself. Has a brown Leather shoulder tote bag that is covered with keychains that were gifted to her by her friends and family, from time to time. The only keychain that will never touch her bag is those Popmart keychains and Labubu charms (It's too big, expensive, and it covers the other keychains). Italian Charm Bracelet links all her interests and hobbies, and random pieces given to her by close friends through the years. Mare would have the most laid-back clothing with mismatched shoes or a top that she bought on sale at her favorite thrift store, but has accessories that are fully decked out with memorabilia that passes as a maximalist aesthetic.
Cal: Becoming an influencer, unintentionally. Gym videos that are actually educational, but most comments are men asking what Cal eats and the type of sets he does, and yeah, they are also thirsting over him. Cal does car videos where he fixes his car while responding to the livestream comments. Cal might like the Viral Dubai Kunafa Chocolate but not crazy for it. He would absolutely cringe at how dizzingly sweet Crumble Cookies are (even with his wicked sweet tooth), and he would mostly stick to his beloved Vanilla Cake. Cal would fall victim to the Ninja Creami Ice Cream Maker and probably had a phase of only consuming his protein powder in ice cream form and has fed Mare tubs of that ice cream and meal prep whenever he brings Mare home.
Maven: He would be the face of overconsumerism once he steps into a Lush Store. He keeps that business alive and well with his bath bomb purchases alone. He would also fall in the Matcha craze, he genuinely enjoys the process of making it, cause it distracts and relaxes him. Keep in mind, he only enjoys matcha lattes and not the trendy tools or equipment or the Weck jars. Cause he sticks to his own method in making his matcha lattes. Oh and do ignore the flavored syrups on his counter, and yes, he only uses full-fat milk cause our boy needs it and is very hungry.
Evangeline: She ain't riding any trends, but she starts them. She would buy a simple Costco tote bag and get posted walking with it, and the next day, people would line up to have what she had. Most of the time, she joins in Elane's reels where they review makeup and gossip. She mostly uses bobbi brown, MAC, rms, and sometimes Fenty makeup when the color interests her.
Farley: She is not chronically online for the next trends, she despises consumerism, and for her, TikTok is the root cause of those fast micro trends. Farley is too busy dragging every right-wing republican on Twitter and doing her 24/7 job. She gets featured on other social media platforms for her public speeches with cool Phonk edit music.
Kilorn: He would get along with the Yoink Guy and make reels of himself talking about fishing and which knot is best to use for that spring fishing trip. Most chronologically online and knows all the brain-rot memes and uses them to annoy Mare and Cal whenever they hang out.
Shade: Gets unwanted dating advice from Andrew Tate-like podcasters on his Instagram account, so he stopped using most social media apps; only Twitter is still active. He uses the internet like a regular person but only stays active when he sees Farley dragging some right-wing conservative through Twitter.

Julian: Gets jumpscared every time he sees flat-earthers, anti-vaccers, and tradwives spreading misinformation on every platform. Spends most of his free time at his favorite library and occasionally hears young readers ask, "Does it have spice?" When looking at books, it confuses him. Might also get jumpscared when he sees the BookTok Popular sign when he visits bookstores.
Sara: Barely has time to touch her phone once she starts her shift in the hospital. When she is done, she will go to a small bakery and pick up her and Julian's favorite pastries and coffee, then talk to the librariy where Julian is already waiting for her.
