So I’m a fan of @lumidotexe and her comic (Evan Rainfall has Shadows)! I decided to make a crochet plushy (amigurumi) of Ru. Ru is the main character of the comic. I highly recommend taking a look at the comic and Lumiex’s Tumblr page! The comic looks so beautiful and dynamic. Honestly, Lumiex is a huge inspiration of my.

Overall, I’m happy with the result of this plushy! The hair was the biggest challenge when making this plush because Ru have fluffy and “sharp” hair that I couldn’t translate into crochet form well. Ru doesn’t have ears in her human form but I put them on her to distract viewers from looking at the hair to long, lol. I think I would’ve sew the legs on differently because she doesn’t sit well. I also wish the colors where a little closer to the original design but I didn’t want to buy a bunch of new yarn. That’s all I have to stay about the project. I’m thinking about crocheting An He next.

I drew this after seeing poor An He at the end of Chapter 8, and then Ru looking for her the beginning of Chapter 9. I wanted to draw them so badly, and I decided to try drawing them in their animal forms. (Sorry for bad quality.) I need gentle moments between these two and I'm glad we're getting them.

Lumi, can I just say I love your characters so much? Thank you for creating this story! :) These two hurt me in the feels. But I'm SO glad they're coming together again.
