Here are some event banners that participants are welcome to use on their prompt fills for the event! Are they required? Nope! Can you make your own banners? Absolutely!
**This post will be updated as more banners are added! If you'd like to submit a banner for participants to use, you can find the guidelines HERE!**
If you've ever wanted to spruce up your The Arcana event posts but didn't know where to start, didn't have time, or didn't think you had the artistic abilities, then we have great news for you!
Your lovely mod team has put together a selection of publicly available banners to use on your posts for the Midsummer Masquerade. These banners were made specifically to share with everyone, so feel free to save and use any image on this post for your own event posts. Use these banners above fics, fanart, mood boards, poems - you name it. The sky's the limit!
No credit is necessary. Although it would be much appreciated, we only ask that you don't try to take credit for these as if you made them yourself. If you do want to credit us, pls just put a blurb in your post that your post banner was made by the @midsummer-masquerade mods.
Remember to tag your event posts with #avesuvianmasquerade and tag us so we can keep track of submissions.
This is an 18+ only event, minors DNI
All background images are from The Arcana mobile game wiki.
All images edited using Canva (free tier).

Summer of Bad Batch 2025 has officially begun!! And with it, the introduction of event banners!!
The absolutely AMAZING banners below the cut were created by fellow Bad Batch fandom enthusiasts. These talented individuals gifted us with fantastic pieces to use alongside our prompt fills here on Tumblr!
To use banners…simply:
Save the image you want to use
Add the image to your fill post
You then can use the image as a heading to your fill to let everyone know that your creative genius is for this event!
(You can also find page dividers here!)
Thank you to all the amazing artists that contributed banners this year!! 🤗
Event banners are a fun (and optional!) addition for participants to use on their prompt fills during the event! And having lots of options means that you can use a banner that fits the vibe of your fill ✨
So we are looking for awesome, creative individuals who would like to help make that happen!
If this sounds like something you’d love to do, see below for the guidelines 💫
📏 To keep everything looking neat and coherent — banners should be 1800 px wide X 400 px high
👤 Put your tumblr username somewhere on the banner! That way we can credit your amazing creativity 👏
💭 The theme this year is CLONES!! So make sure your banners reflect that — you can make character-specific banners, battalion specific, location specific…you get the idea! Just keep banners Star Wars clones inspired.
ALL banners shared by the event blog must be completely SFW.*
*Side Note: this is not to say that you can’t make your own event banners for your personal use however you’d like—this is only if I’m going to be sharing it. I want to make sure the banners are accessible to everyone!
Here’s an example of a banner! I made this one on Canva ✨ It’s basic, but it gives you an idea of what all the guidelines look like pulled together 🫶
You can send your completed banners in a message or an ask to the event blog @summer-of-clones
When the event begins, I’ll share a master list of all the banners so that participants can use them on their fills if they so desire 😊
Are you creative?? (That’s a rhetorical question…if you’re participating in this event, I already know you are 😎)
Would you like to help create banners for participants to use on their prompt fills during the event?? (*crosses fingers that you’ll say yes*)
Then you’ve come to the right place!!
See the guidelines below the cut, or get more info from the event site here!
**just to keep everything uniform, this size is what we’re looking for!
**You can add your Tumblr tag wherever you want…I just want to make sure you get the credit you deserve for your amazing, hard work!
**Theme is a delicate thing…because Summer of Bad Batch isn’t really about a specific season or genre or topic….so get creative!
But just like prompts, keeping banners fairly vague and non-specific will allow them to be used for a variety of fills ☺️
Summer of Bad Batch 2025 should also be somewhere on your banner 🤩
You can send your completed banners either by message or Ask!
And as always, PLEASE ask questions if you need clarification or would like additional guidance! You can message the event blog @summer-of-bad-batch OR my main blog @kybercrystals94 … I’d be thrilled to help🥰
Also, extra special thanks to @pandorademos who has already sent in several AMAZING event banners…they are fantastic and I can’t wait for y’all to use them 🤭
Quick question, since I've never used these before.
What are the purposes of the Banners and the Dividers?
Hi!! Thanks for the great question ☺️
The banners are a fun (and optional!) way to let people know that your post is part of the event 🫶 The artists that contributed to our ✨beautiful✨ banner collection did a fantastic job gifting us with unique options that fit so many genres and aesthetics 😍
The dividers are just a way to divide up a single post into sections. Writers often use them to indicate scene breaks in their stories ☺️ But dividers can be used as mini banners too if you’re looking for something more subtle but still want to add something unique to your post!
There aren’t any real rules to how or where you use the banners or dividers! It’s just a fun and unique way to support the event and community 🥰
I’ll be collecting banners all the way to Saturday, May 31st 🥰 That way I can release the banners for use alongside the first prompt set on June 1st 🥳🥳🥳
