Unity: The Rise (May 9th - 21st)

The murmurs turn to shouts. This new “Movement” is gaining momentum, but it’s disorganized. Chaotic. There’s complaints and fears and maybe a bit of hope. Is this what the planet needs to become whole again? Perhaps it’s time to band together, to get those who agree on one side and lay out the “rules” they play by. With the idea out in the open, there are those that will stray from the path. Nonviolence must be reinforced. They weren’t going to start another war...

Ok, Phase 2 is here everyone! The rallies are going to start up very soon, so look out for the city state updates! Also, the directory will be out in the next couple of days.

TFP: Unity - Participation Call!

Hey everyone!

So as we just, ha, slowly easy our way into the fun stuff, there’s a lil thing here to take care of. I’ve had a couple people interested in a roster of sorts for those participating in the event, just to make connections easier and know who’s actually doing stuff.

Unity: The Reason (May 1st-7th)

Part One

It’s been a silent battle for the most part. That’s how it was always intended to be. Well, not exactly silent, but definitely not what it turned into. Looking back on everything that happened, maybe it could’ve been different. Maybe publicity was their downfall or maybe it kept them afloat just long enough to prevent the collapse of Cybertron.

But we’re getting ahead of ourselves.

You need to know how this starts because even in the most outlandish, nonlinear story, the start is important. So you’re going to learn. You’re going to experience a world on the verge of prosperity and ruin. You’re going back to Cybertron and you’re rebuilding what was lost.

The Vosnian Masquerade saw Vos as the first officially Neutral city state. It took an idea - a hopeful dream - and set it in place. Well, it’s worked so far. Vos has achieved peace.

To Bumblebee, this was a starting point. Here was an example of Autobots and Decepticons casting aside their badges and embracing the future together. All are one. And really, that’s what they were fighting for to begin with.

How could others not believe the same? Not only that, they dismissed him. He was a child. He was a fool. He was defective.

Well, the Council member who’d uttered that particular phrase got a swift punch to the fascia. Unfortunately, Bumblebee saw himself quickly expelled from any more Council hearings. Now what? The political sway was gone. How could change come about if he’d lost his way?

No, it was too early to give up. He had allies too, a lot of them. Maybe they could think of something together and prove the Council wrong.

Maybe they could have unity.

Welcome everyone to the TFP: Unity event! Please remember to tag all of your Unity posts with the generic tag “tfp unity” in addition to whatever personal tags you have!

Now, we’re gonna get this event underway! What you need to know:

Word of the movement is just a rumor now. It’s a new concept, so bots are testing the waters and discussing the potential/failure. Some will be steadfast in their beliefs, others won’t know.

The Autobot Council is in fairly good standing. Some Decepticons oppose it, but that’s to be expected.

No rallies have been planned nor has the movement gained momentum. They don’t exist yet.

Starscream is in Vos.

Windblade, Moonracer, and Bumblebee are in Iacon.

Event Update

Hey, wasn’t that fast?

Alrighty everyone, I just received an ask and for those involved/reblogging the post, thank you for doing so! However, please don’t forget to tag any Unity posts you make with “tfp unity” (NO COLON PLEASE) or a variation of that generic tag, just in case there are those who want to blacklist/tracking purposes/any other personal reasons my semi-inebriated mind can’t think of right now.

TFP: Unity - The Prelude

There have been rumors ever since the Masquerade. For those at the festivities, it provided either a sense of relief. For others, it roused anger and fear. From the outskirts of Vos, nothing seems to have changed. The Autobot Council is gaining its footing, solidifying its rule and trying to establish an ideal government. The city states live in relative harmony, though everyone can feel the undercurrents of something big approaching.

Bumblebee returns to Iacon with a plan and purpose. If the government can disband the factions, then Cybertron can truly be one. Sure, the prejudices and hurt will stay, but without factions so heavily emphasized within their society, maybe they can learn to move past the war together, to establish a long-lasting age of peace. With backing from Starscream, he’s sure he can succeed. After all, this is what Optimus would have wanted, right?

It’s time for some info everyone! As you know, this event starts on May 1st and it’s going to be one heck of a ride! So for those outside of the “Main Cast,” here’s what’s gonna go down and how you can be part of the fun:

General Info/How To Do The Thing

Basically, anyone can be a part of this! The purpose of making it a massive event is so anyone can hop in and do stuff! Here’s some essentials:

Use the hashtag “tfp unity” or something similar. This is the tag I’ll be using for general posts, updates, logs, etc. It’s not required, but if you’re participating, please post something that says you will be! It’ll let other participating find you and maybe some plotting can come from that?

What side are you on? Everyone - Autobot, Decepticon, and Neutral alike - will take a stance on this. Bumblebee is calling for Cybertron to drop the factions. The Council wants to keep them in place, upholding the Autobot ideals. I do ask that no matter what happens, stay true to your character. Don’t change suddenly because it’s “right,” do what your character would do even if it’s against your personal choice. It’ll make the dynamic more interesting, especially if you play muses with opposing viewpoints.

Where are you from? The rallies that come later in the event will focus on the following city states: Iacon, Praxus, Kaon, and Vos. There will possibly be others that will be mentioned, but our main focus is here. And yes, there will be updates on city states. Choose wisely.

OCs, multiverse, and double muses are welcome! However, keep in mind that the “Main Cast” is pushing the plot along, as to not confuse double muses. Please, interact with each other! Get into ridiculous, dangerous situations! Or just see where this goes and how. Get involved or be an observer, whatever you want, anything goes.

Please follow basic roleplay etiquette. An event does not give you permission to break anyone’s personal rules. Before interacting with each player, please make sure you know their rules (especially if you’ve never RP’ed with them before) and get that all squared away.

Questions? Comments? Concerns? I got you, bro. Feel free to ask me anything before, during, or after the event. (Honestly, if you give me feedback after the event, that’d be super helpful. I may do one in the future and depending how this one goes, I’ll see what works and what doesn’t.)

Timeline

This event will take place from May 1st to June 30th. During that time, the event will be split into five parts.

The Reason: May 1st - 7th

The Rise: May 8th - 21st

The Refuge: May 22nd - June 4th

The Run: June 5th - 19th

The Resigned: June 20th - 30th

For each of these parts, you’ll see a post from me announcing when one starts and the next will end. Overall, this event will be run like a massive closed group RP, so feel free to follow me during the course of the event and unfollow when it’s over.

Updates

In addition to the timeline, I’ll make general updates for everyone so you know what’s happening and when. So if there’s a Pro-Neutral rally in a city, you’ll see the info from me about it/everything surrounding it. The plot will be revealed to you as time goes on. I won’t leave you in the dark and I’ll make a page on my blog about the event, so you can find updates easily in the case that you miss one.
