You know, on a scale of one to ten of “how bad was this idea,” it’d probably get ranked a thirteen.

But in his defense, he’d only heard the whisperings of the undead lurking in one of the sectors. He didn’t know where, exactly (or perhaps he’d simply forgotten and refused to admit that), yet here he had just found the answer as to where they were.

Which is why his idea of wandering around was a terrible one. 

After all, when you look like a zombie yourself, perhaps it’s not the best idea to be among them.

Kaito was going to simply slink his way out of the sector as unnoticed as possible, hoping silently to himself that he wouldn’t run into anyone who happened to be here for the sake of killing zombies. He really didn’t want to get caught up in a mess like that, and--oh shoot. 

There’s a not-zombie looking right at him, there. What a lovely situation this could turn out to be, 

right?

“Ahh, I don’t like this at all!!” 

It was a small outburst, but an outburst nonetheless, and the android let out an exasperated sigh as he leaned up against the closest wall, a hand running through his bangs while eyes were fixated towards the sky. 

Really, though, why would he be pleased with this development? If people were being ‘consumed’ by their costumes, or however exactly this was going, and he had decided to dress up as a zombie--oh, if he would’ve known something like this would happen, he certainly would have picked something that would inevitably be far less dangerous in the end. 

He’d already noticed some changes, after all. Like how his costume wouldn’t come off, that was one thing, but--but he was starting to become more sluggish, and it almost looked like the fake ‘wounds’ he’d used as effect makeup were actually becoming a part of him.

“This is just--this is great, isn’t it... I don’t want to become a real zombie!” It sounds vaguely like whining, although there’s a clear tone of distress to his voice. Kaito is not a happy camper, here. “How is it even possible, anyways? I’m not even human....!”
