You know, on a scale of one to ten of “how bad was this idea,” it’d probably get ranked a thirteen.

But in his defense, he’d only heard the whisperings of the undead lurking in one of the sectors. He didn’t know where, exactly (or perhaps he’d simply forgotten and refused to admit that), yet here he had just found the answer as to where they were.

Which is why his idea of wandering around was a terrible one. 

After all, when you look like a zombie yourself, perhaps it’s not the best idea to be among them.

Kaito was going to simply slink his way out of the sector as unnoticed as possible, hoping silently to himself that he wouldn’t run into anyone who happened to be here for the sake of killing zombies. He really didn’t want to get caught up in a mess like that, and--oh shoot. 

There’s a not-zombie looking right at him, there. What a lovely situation this could turn out to be, 

right?

Asha was ready for whatever this pandemic was to end. In her mind, it seemed like the entire social fabric of the city had melted down and been replaced with some reclusion-based system where interaction of almost any kind was discouraged on a basic-level. In other words, Hive City had turned into New York.

She still needed to get places though, so she adopted the new-found custom of walking abnormally fast and tried to avoid so much as eye contact with anyone else. Trying to get home from one of her attempted jaunts to see how much normal life had been affected was a grueling process in that regard.

However, even looking forward wasn’t enough to help her prevent every accident, as she was about to figure out the hard way.

Have they ever been so overwhelmed they had to stop and take a break from something?

yeah!! the whole situation with the breach for one like. what even is that. giant demon-spitting hole in the sky who wouldnt need to take a break?? after the fade at adamant too. for the most part tho she just. ignores the things that might overwhelm her?? focuses on things she can deal with. healthy

Does your character trust people right off the bat or does it take them some time to warm up to someone?

it definitely takes her a while to warm up to people. she grew up fending for herself until emmald adopted her, and then that turned out like it did. she has an especially hard time trusting nobility and feels kind of insecure around elves who are. more comfortable with their elfy-ness than she is?? so she doesnt tend to trust them easy either. also mages, because magic, right?
