“Ohhh this is gonna be fun,” Astrid let out a giddy laugh as she picked up one of the knifes. Flashing the other who was currently strapped onto a wheel of questions, an innocent enough smile. “You ready to spill all your secrets?”
“I look like a fucking monster.” Jenny sighed as she headed towards the carnival lights. “I mean, look at me.” She gave a forced smile, her fangs glistening in the moonlight. “I’m not sure how you talked me into coming to this.”
“You talked a lot of smack didn’t you, but whose my fish now bitch?” Sabrina told off the babblefish in the bowl she had won, a rare bright smile finding its way to her face as she clutched onto the bowl triumphantly. “Quick! What’s an embarrassing name I can give it that it will have to live with for the rest of its life?”
Rick found some parts of this thing cool and some parts he found completely and utterly ridiculous. “People are really out here going into the tunnel of love? And this whole lighted pathway of chemistry bullshit, sounds like a dating show to me. Where are the cameras?” He was curious but he was ever the skeptic and the cynic. So of course he doubted that any path would light with him on it with another person.
“No fair,” Gigi said with a little pout as she watched people one by one file out of the fright maze. The one time there was a horror maze that played off people’s actual fears, she couldn’t actually enjoy it. “I just wanted to watch the magic work. But, no. You have to have fears to play with the illusions. Stupid exclusive maze.”
“Whoa whoa whoa, nearly translucent but still standing here! I was in line for that ride!” she said when someone had hopped in line in front of her. She frowned. “I normally love carnivals but not when I’m almost invisible. Someone stepped on my foot earlier, and then just acted like I wasn’t here. I know you saw me Tom!” she yelled at the man that had stepped on her earlier. Violence wasn’t the answer but she might just have to invisibly put the hands on someone if they kept this up while she was trying to enjoy herself.
“Oh my gosh, I love this cotton candy so much! Did you know when you don’t have a favorite food each bite tastes like another kind of food? Genius! This already my fourth one,” She grinned, a giddy smile bright as day across her face as she approached the other with her hands filled to the brim with carnival treats. “Quick! What else can I eat? Ohhh. Apples. Can we go bobbing for apples?” She asked, the overly hyper skinwalker practically bouncing off the walls.
Alexa looked around as she watched the Mundane show. “Hold up...Is that Ben from accounting up there with those corny ass jokes? I probably shouldn’t love this, but I do. Us watching the mundane show? Damn, this might just be my favorite attraction. What do you think? Do you like it? Or does this greatly offend you?” She didn’t care if it did. For a moment, for once she wasn’t the freak as she walked around with her wings out.
