“I don’t know. I could say something and royally step in it.” Jenny shrugged. “I’m fine with a script, but just up there fielding questions, I just don’t wanna say something stupid.”

Alexa thought for a minute of the weirdest questions a perfect stranger could ask. “Do you sleep in pajamas, just underwear, or the nude?” she laughed as she asked, knowing getting a question like that in public would have been the worst, but if Jenny could survive these weird questions she would survive the panel.

“Depends on the day.” Jenny chuckles. “Most of the time it’s a Tshirt and boxers. If I’ve fallen asleep after a shift? It’s usually nude.”

“Luna!!” Jenny smiled broadly at the other woman. Between changes in schedules and the like, Jenny had missed her friend. They hadn’t crossed paths for more than five minutes or so in some time so this was a welcome moment. “It’s going okay, prepping for that panel this week. How are you? My goodness I’ve missed seeing you!” She moved closer s d hugged Luna. “Thank you… it feels… surreal. Honestly. I’m still kind of pinching myself.”

“I’m good, I spent a while praying to different gods that I do not win the award I’m nominated for. We have a lot of gods and if I had the time I’d probably have prayed to all of them individually. That’s just how…much I don’t want to give a speech. Or go on the stage so…here’s to hoping it worked. But I do hope you win your award! Or that your show wins awards. You guys do good work.” She gave Jenny a squeeze and a kiss on the cheek. “We should make a pact not to be strangers. What’s new in your life? Other than this surreal experience? And have you celebrated yet? Because I definitely owe you a celebration at some point.”

“Thank you. I’m keeping my fingers crossed, but I’ll be okay if I don’t win.” Jenny nods. “It really is awesome just to be nominated. As cliche as that sounds.” She smiles at the hug and kiss on her cheek. “Please? Yes let’s not be strangers anymore? I haven’t properly celebrated, no. But yes, sometime soon?”

The look on Jenny’s face when Jackie pulled her on stage with her was one of shock. “Jack… no.” She shook her head and waved nervously at the crowd. “I’m not drunk enough for this!” As the song started, Jenny relaxed and focused on her roommate, trying to ignore the crowd screaming and cheering. She let herself move to the music.

Jackie laughed as Jenny protested a little. “Psh let me celebrate you with the rest of the crowd. I’m incredibly proud of you and happy for you and all your success.” Jackie sang the song in its entirety straight to Jenny. As they danced around the stage as if it were their living room. When the last notes died down, she hugged Jenny before taking a bow and heading off stage with the woman in tow. “I know you’re probably all nerves this week, but you just totally danced in front of all those people like we were in our living room. How’d it feel? Nerves calmed a little?” she asked.

Alexa had made the mistake of looking at her phone. To see so many notifications. People were excited about the Operation & Violent Delights panels and she would be a part of them speaking from a writing standpoint. She tossed back the drink she had. “People are starting to talk about the panels on social media. Please tell me you are a go for another drink with me. I’m a behind the scenes person. This stuff puts me on edge.” @jenniferscarrow​

Alexa had the hugest case of writer’s block. She couldn’t focus. The words wouldn’t come to her as she attempted to write. So she roamed around the studio until she saw a familiar face. “Hey, so what’s a girl got to do to convince you to hang out?” she asked @jenniferscarrow​ , hoping the other wasn’t busy.

“I don’t know.” Jenny shrugged. “I get brave if I’m drunk or otherwise inebriated. And… I don’t know why, I mean I guess subconsciously I thought he was handsome and charming. Which really helps with his role on the show. I really never meant to hurt you, honestly. That wasn’t my intention. At all. You’re one of the closest people I have here too, to be honest. One that I really trust. And I’m really, really sorry I messed that up. Do you think maybe we can… I don’t know try to get to know each other better? Better than we thought?” She asks and lets out a laugh when Astrid seems judgy about her car. “Hey… it’s cute, it’s compact and it does the job. It gets me from point a to point b. Besides, I really like the color.”

“So apparently wishing with the alliance is kind of like wishing with a genie? You need to be careful how you word things? Or what?” She asked as she drove. “I feel like the whole bracelet thing would’ve been easier for both parties. Rather than… waking you up with all these new abilities. I’d probably be in the corner crying and rocking back and forth if I weren’t a wolf, that’s all I’ve known.”

We were both drunk and things happen. We’re good,” She promised the other. Letting out a small laugh herself when Jenny mentioned the car. “Hey, I’m just saying it’s the car that Hilter used to drive. But, you know, whatever suits your fancy,” She joked.

“Apparently. The more you know, right?” Astrid said with a small shrug. “I mean I definitely would have preferred it. But, here I am. I mean I… I never really liked being a nymph? I didn’t exactly have much of a choice though. I was born human, but when I was six a… a nymph forced themselves upon me and the next thing I knew, I was one too. So… a witch honestly seems… better? In a lot of ways and I asked the Alliance for a gift for a reason… I just… I wish it would have been more of a conscience choice than a ‘here you fucking go, figure it out with no manual or explanation’ sort of shit. But, that’s my life for you, I guess.”

“No... no! That’s not what I was saying. I just meant, he’s really a beautiful human. And yeah he’s charming, but it doesn’t mean I want to whisk him off to bed.” Jenny shook her head. “As for my car?? Don’t compare me to hitler, Cmon. The car is cute. Admit it.”

“Oh my god.. I didn’t know. That’s... I’m so sorry.” Jenny looked over at her friend while at a red light. “There are some really sweet witches that work at the studio, I’m sure some of them could kind of help... I don’t know, guide your new found... witchiness?”
