got way more goth, smoked weed for the first time, basically went to my first high school party, actually drank for the first time, left the americas for the first time, lived in france for a month, went to mont-saint-michel, finished TAZ balance, started senior year of high school, got a good score on my SAT, applied to 14 colleges, came out to my mom, made some really really great friends, survived cutting my own bangs, had a breakthrough in therapy, participated in two walkouts, went on a 9 day road trip through new england, went to senior prom as a junior, put on my first musical, started heading the theatre costume department and survived, went to my first funeral, turned 17, saw david byrne live, saw roger daltrey live, went to the chicago pride parade for the first time, got obsessed with velvet goldmine, then nirvana, saw my 8th grade friends for the first time in 3 years, started playing guitar in earnest
