wonder what rowansky's backstory is... like i thought he was some really brutal warrior but no he's also a medicine cat who's good with kits. how was his life like...

Thank you so much for the question!!! While not entirely fleshed out, I do have bits and bobs of backstory for the fallen BrightClan members. Rowansky has a little bit of backstory! - He was born to a loving family as an only kit, his mother was named Robinfeather and his dad was named Mudwhisker - He trained to be a warrior and showed incredible promise! He graduated at 11 moons and was honoured for his incredible strength. - A few moons later his mum announced she was expecting another litter of kits! Rowansky was thrilled to pieces to have siblings. - One night, Robinfeather gave birth to three little daughters. During her kitting, she sadly passed away. Rowansky and Mudwhisker were beside themselves with grief. - Mudwhisker was so broken from the loss of his mate that he couldn't stand to be around his kits anymore (Rowan included), so one day in the night, he up and left BrightClan without a trace. [ Author knowledge: He became a kittypet ] - Rowansky, despite his grief, stepped up to look after his little baby sisters, Sandkit(Sandsparrow), Redkit(Redthorn) and Flashkit(Flashbreeze). They idolised him and he found himself utterly devoted to the tiny little bundles of fluff. - The trauma and heartbreak of losing his mother to childbirth made him vow to never let anyone else feel this loss, so he requested he train to become a medicine cat. It was agreed, and despite some objections at the idea of losing such a promising warrior from various clanmates, he trained harder than any medicine apprentice the clan had seen and became a stronger asset to the clan in healing than he would have as a warrior. - He became a master at maternity care and delivering kits! During his years as the medicine cat, there was a significant decrease in kit mortality and he hadn't lost a single mother to kitting. He basically became a super midwife. - That changed however when his sister, Flashbreeze, announced her pregnancy. She was 134 moons old, and Rowansky was concerned for her wellbeing. It wasn't his first elderly mother he'd helped, but because it was a cat so important to him he was completely terrified. Sadly on the day of her kitting, there was a complication that even Rowansky couldn't bypass. Her age was playing against her, and she passed away shortly after giving birth to one kit. - Rowansky once again, despite his grief, stepped up and took this tiny kit into his care. He named him Flamekit, and the two had a very close bond. Then, 7 moons later, they were victim to The Great Hunt. So that's a little bit of info about Rowansky!! He's a grumpy old git, and has always been a bit snippy and snide at times, but he softens like butter whenever it involves looking after kits in the nursery. Most warriors of BrightClan have a fond memory involving Rowansky visiting them in the nursery for check ups, often giving them honey and small eggs to reward them for good behaviour. He also made it his duty to ensure fathers would pull their weight and look after their mates and kits, still feeling bitter at his father for leaving them. I HOPE THIS WAS A SATISFACTORY BACKSTORY! :3 He lived a good, long life and despite the sad moments mixed with his cold nature and grumpiness, he was happy.

what if instead of being called guststar she was called wlwstar and instead of leading everclan they led girlkisserclan and instead of clan cats it was just a bunch of yuri mangas/shows

Hello! I wanted to say I've been enjoying the comic so far! I really like the way you draw expressions. Also, since we now know Guststar's name, does that mean we'll get to see her reference soon?

Oh gosh thank you so much!!! Expressions are one of my fave things to draw, so that means a lot to hear! :D
