Words cannot describe how much I love the Memento Mori Series by C.S. Poe. And great performance by Kale Williams in audiobooks only adds to its greatness. Volume 3 is out in ebook and print and audiobook should be out soon.

I need more people to be aware of Everett Larkin and Ira Doyle. They are gay detectives with tragic back stories, solving mostly cold cases while battling every day difficulties. With each other they found friendship, companionship and love.

Pulling off the gloves as quickly as he could, Ezra tossed them aside. He couldn’t give a shit where they fell or if someone took them. Getting another pair was easy enough. All he knew was that he had to get to Bennett’s house.

He hadn’t noticed he was being watched, unaware his cursing about his boyfriend had been overheard. When he turned, the brunette smiled, shifting nervously from one foot to another. You... you have really great form, the man stammered.

Excuse me? Ezra growled, annoyed at the distraction. Do I know you?

Um, no. I guess not. I just.. I play for the other high school & recognized you, Everett shrugged his muscular shoulders. The blond continued to stare blankly at him so he tried to think of some other connection he could make. I know Benny. 

The blond’s eyes narrowed as he drew in a sad, deep breath & released it slowly. Benny, huh? he muttered, curious about how his boyfriend may know some kid from the other side of the island. Surely through his friend that Ezra had only met in passing, the guy with the messy hair. Is there something that you needed because I was just on my way out?

No, Everett chuckled. The man’s reaction to hearing the redhead’s name mixed with his rage-fueled display were all the proof that the brunette needed to know that the deed had been done. It was only natural for the athlete to be in a such a sour mood after being dumped. I’m sorry to hear about you guys, by the way.
