Swamp friends

Let me tell you about my swamp friends. Sure they're all mucky and icky. smelling and oozing. They never leave their place, only doing the one trick they know: eating algae. But they're honest in their way. Pure. Mindless.They are beautiful pieces of the whole, so perfectly included in such a delicate ecosystem. I love to watch them lives their lives, like watching a perfectly balanced clockwork mechanism. This place would not be the same without them.

Laissez-moi vous présenter mes amis du marais. Je préfère vous prévenir: ils puent, suintent, et rampent toute la journée dans la boue, exerçant la seule activité à laquelle ils sont doués : manger des algues. A leur manière, ils sont honnêtes, purs, vierges de tout dilemme. Ces créatures sont les exquises pièces centrales d'un écosystème complexe. J'aime à les contempler vivre leur vie, tels les pièces d'un mécanisme d'horlogerie parfaitement ajusté. Le marais ne serait plus le même sans eux.
