Hurricane has downed a tree and power line right at our house and damaged a power box outside 🙃 I was hoping to spend the day decorating but it'll be a few days until I can now, if we're lucky

Does anyone else keep a Writing Craft Journal? Like a journal where you write down tips and ideas and methods for different writing craft related things to reference when you write? I don't remember when or why i started one, but I highly recommend lol. I'm ALWAYS saving posts on tumblr or pinterest with writing tips that get lost & forgotten. My journal keeps the stuff I want to reference again close and organized.
Even if my writing is messy
i think we're just about to unlock the first dawntrail dungeon so not super far into the expansion yet. I don't plan to post any spoilers, certainly not intentionally (i'll tag anything even related with #dawntrail), but i will say this: wuk lamat is baby girl.
i remember posting this on twitter once, but my HC is that Viera/Viis feet are shaped the way they are b/c of the traditional heels they wear & that Viera/Viis born or raised outside of their homeland are more likely to develop with flatter feet lol
I'm not sure if we actually get or have any canon lore on this, I just remember wanting a reason for why some Viis wear those heels in and out of Rak'tika, while others don't. I'm incredibly stubborn and never use any other shoes on any of my current three Viera
Desperately want to redo my house, but too scared to remove everything and get rid of what I have placed.
Me, the DM: "I keep forgetting it's game night."
My bf: "yes it is, are you prepared?"
Me, THE DM: "No, literally never."
I'm a morning person, but only when I'm alone. It's taken me 31 years to realize the reason I'm so grumpy in the morning is because there's never quiet. It's not that I'm too sleepy or don't want to wake up. I struggle, but I genuinely LIKE being awake before the sun. I like the hushed shadows. I like the slow shift from night. I like the hot cup of coffee and the promise of scrambled eggs and the way my dog curls up and slips back into dreams for a while, waiting for the world to stir. I even like the birds that sing just a little too early. If I had roosters, I'd like the way they crow. I'm fond, even, of the flash of headlights and the slow roll of wheels over the road as my neighbors gently drift off to their jobs.
But I hate when that peace is interrupted. I hate the sound of alarms blaring. Of doors shutting just a little too hard. Of heavy footfalls across wooden floors. Of voices with an edge, unhappy and irritable. I hate the bang of pots and pans, the clink of dishes in the sink.
Maybe it's a little selfish of me to crave the quiet of morning all to myself, but that's the only way I can call myself a morning person.
I have a name for my main character! It usually doesn't take me this long to figure one out.
Emera
Other characters names I've picked:
Kyrie
Coleus
And I'm debating between Cassi Cristin or Issac Cristin for another. I don't love so many C/K sounding names so probably the latter.
