It was a good answer. One Ikkaku could quite easily see past. In the first place, there wasn’t much to hide about it; only shooting it as a sort of test, more than anything. Now why would he be in any position to test Izuru?

“That right.” He asked, smirking some. “That’s really careful of you.” Now clearly, the two had conflicting philosophies concerning fights and confrontations in general. Their divisions, from their air to their symbols, spoke volumes to that. “So then, what makes a fight unnecessary for you?”

Off the bat, Ikkaku could think up a few examples in his own life. But he’d be damned if he passed up on those fights, at least on the offchance.
