So! I'm sure many of you (or at least a few of you... Right?) have been looking around here and thinking, "Hey! Those fantastic Every First Time fics have been taking a long time to come out lately!" And you wouldn't be wrong! I've been slowing down in general because of The Madness (aka, these things just get harder and harder to write the more continuity I have to work with), but more recently I've taken up The Physical Activity on Mondays and Tuesdays which often gets me home late. And when I get home late it takes even longer to Get Started so I don't make much writing progress on those days. I apologize! But don't worry, I'll never give up on this project. I'm in too deep at this point...
Every First Time is now over 400,000 words long! That's longer than an entire His Dark Materials series! Fun fact: me, Philip Pullman, and Eric Kripke all love examining religion through the lens of fiction, especially by referencing Paradise Lost. However, I statistically have a lot more incest in my work than the other two.
