magic of a first kiss PART I

If I could pick one scene to preserve forever, I would hold our first kiss in a little snow globe. We had been building to it for a while, almost happening here or there. One day you walked me to math class and held my hand and I almost died of happiness. But our first kiss was waiting for the right moment, the moment to make it magic. The moment the world was holding its breath for. It was almost Christmas, and we sat in my living room staring at the tree, when it started to snow. The type of big beautiful flakes you see in movies. I grabbed you and we ran outside with a polaroid camera. We were just wearing t shirts and freezing but we ran into the middle of the road, tongues out, catching the little flakes of ice. We were soaking wet and freezing cold but you went to pick me up, spin me around, and when you set me down, I fell into you. Your face was inches from mine, all I had to do was turn my head and close the gap. That’s when the magnetic field between us took over. Gravity took over and suddenly we were together. Me on you. My first kiss. Your first kiss. My first love. Your first love. Your lips were wet from the snow but so warm. So perfect. I pulled away and said I loved you. And I meant it. I said it without even thinking. I've never said those words to another person so willingly, so openly. I never meant them quite as much as I did right then. The universe smiled and hit ctrl+save.
