Honestly that story sounds really cool omg, so April!
Im p excited about it. Might be my nano this year!
April is the God of Sun and Storms. The fourth born to the gods every generation, they are often greatly revered as they offer so much naturalistic power. It makes them unpredictable so praisers often handle them with gentle hands in hopes of the kind, not brutal, blessings.
The April of this generation is far more balanced and analytical than the last, but just as committed to the growth of the lands. When all is well, crops thrive, no droughts occure, and bad weather is rare. But this April can be a calculating and envious God. Mistrustful of those Gods who can choose to bless Individuals, April is frustrated that all their choices must affect all or none. You can’t orchestrate a storm that only affects the bent ruler, for instance. This tends to make them more isolated, and internal. They rarely offer opinions or solutions to the other 11, though if forced to pick a side they would choose November over January (this is the main plot of the story). But above all they’d choose themself.
As a person, April enjoys body modification, something that shocks and offends many praisers. ‘You have a gods body! How do you desecrate a holy flesh?’ They don’t care for the praisers opinions on themself though. They tend to be an artistic soul, likes fine things such as music and alcohol, but also is fascinated by space, which brings them close to May who is the God of Earth and Stars, one of the few connections they choose to have.
