I had this last week off from work, and if I'm honest I am a little disappointed with how I spent it. But instead of writing about what I didn't do, I'll write about what I DID. For starters, as of yesterday evening I submitted my final assignment for my Screenwriting course at AFTRS. I spent the week writing the first act of my original series pilot. I also worked on my feature film idea - Everyday Superhero. I worked on the story structure, tightening the end of the first act, strengthening and coming up with the ending for the second act and beginning work on the third act and the end of the whole film. It's coming along really nicely. And what I'm really proud of, is having spent the last week or two unsatisfied with ep 12 of #thebigtop I went through my draft, fixed the weak areas, cut out the problem areas, added some new scenes and now have something I can call a first draft. I put the finishing touches on it this morning, and spent the rest of the day working on the structure for the last episode of the season so I can throw myself into that starting tomorrow. #twelvedownonetogo There's so much I want to do before the end of the year. Finish #ep13, at the very least finish the outline and treatment for #everydaysuperhero, I need to rewrite the beginning of the Big Top's pilot episode and come up with a spec script for an existing tv series. #somuchtodosolittletime #lookingforwardtoit #screenwriting #aftrs #letsdoit https://www.instagram.com/p/BpgeFMAhKkU/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=ztevt5hev5xv
