Grace and peace family! It’s pretty safe to say that Hell is a scary and uncomfortable topic to discuss, but we have great need for it. “Divine Revelation of Hell” was written by Mary K. Baxter many years ago and it truly put a fear of Hell within me, but not a healthy fear of God. Now the purpose of this post is not to bash the book in itself (although I no longer believe in the validity of this divine revelation) but rather, point out the importance of trusting in the Revelation of Jesus according to the Scriptures rather than man’s private revelations. We are taught in 2 Peter 1:20 that “no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own interpretation... but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.” When it comes to “revelations from God,” may we rely on the inerrant Word of God rather than the flawed words of men. -Jarrad #chiefofsinners #letgodbetrue #everymanaliar #solascriptura
