Footloose in the Foothills 10K this morning. Beat my target time by 2 minutes and I felt really good afterwards. All I can say is wow. Spent the past 24+ hours at the 6/12/24 Hour Barn Burner event put on by @sanjoaquinrunning. Day started out by a Beer Mile Challenge at 8 am then followed out by the start of the Barn Burner Event at 9 am. I wore the wrong shoes and was blistering by mile 2. Switched out shoes for my Altra's and some mole skin and was much happier. I didn't get far and was not stressing over it. That's what happens when you don't train. Spent the next 18 hours watching and cheering on those pushing for their 50 and 100 mile goals. It was amazing to watch these people push like they do.
