I mean to anyone who struggles with boycotting eurovision cuz they've watched it annually since forever, there is a way to watch without supporting EBU by checking it out through this website ( https://escfent.com/ ) which hosts livestreams that will not count towards any viewership like watching on the telly or the official livestream sources
There are ways to watch on the telly as well, which this youtube video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xOfyc124nw ) explains better than I ever could; he basically hosts the website I linked first specifically for the purpose of not supporting EBU whilst still being able to see what's going on
If this somehow helps getting the viewer rating down, I'd say it's a win. It's easier to tell someone there's an alternative than to just tell them to not watch. It's really cool that this dude had this very specific goal in mind.
