What was she doing? He had been reading for most of the day, but Amy was bustling about the bungalow like she normally was. The clacking was starting to get concerning and annoying. He had heard it twice within four hours. Simon finally decided to close the book and go see what exactly she was doing. "Amy? What are ye doin'? Yer makin' enough noise aren't ye?" He stood in the doorway, watching her. He wasn't mad or anything, just curious.

He had told her he'd be back before the end of November. She was worried about Christmas pictures, but it wasn't even time for even worry about Christmas. He was prepared to be attacked by Christmas plans when he got back home, but that wasn't the case when he was called into the living room rather than her attacking him at the door. "A cat. You bought a cat?" His bags were sitting beside him as he stared down at her and the cat. He would have rather been greeted by the Christmas decorations than the cat sitting in her lap. Saying no to her felt wrong though. The cat looked attached to her. How long had she had it anyways? "What's its name?"
