um so I might just be late to the party but
remember at the end of episode 7 when Caine says he can only make temporary alterations to people's minds? and then he says that it wouldn't end well if he did any more than that? di-did you catch what kinger said afterwards?
because I did! I think Caine is causing the abstractions by making some type of permanent modification to their minds, like making the players unable to remember their name
