Abi’s Seventeenth
January 29th is the day of my dearest friend Abi. Since our schedule did not work for all of us to celebrate it on that day, she had to move it on a Saturday, January 30.
Unfortunately, I have Saturday classes. So instead of being in their house earlier, I was still in the uni (thinking how long the travel time will be until I arrive) when most of the squad is already with her. Sad me is sad. I’m telling you, the schedule I have for this semester is the fucking worst. Imagine having three 3-hour classes, bonus point is that my last class is a major subject. The worst, I am telling you. Just a few more months and I’ll be done with this. #StayStrongLeila
Backtracking to what happened last night –my high school friends are still the best bunch I’ve met in my life. Those words are now truer after last night’s semi-get-together and semi-birthday celebration. Almost half of my high school friends are there to celebrate Abi’s birthday. Too bad, I got to her place late that I had less time to bond with others. Actually it was so bad, and sad, because I missed them SO MUCH. I did not think I will ever miss them so much, but last night made me feel that way. We consider this moment now, as a rare moment. This is like a test wherein the people who stay with you, will always be with you. And I’d like to think that this bunch of dolts are those kind of people. :)
Happy Birthday Abi-girlash! You go and have the best days of your life, yes?

Update: Cut to 2019, she’s a Registered Psychometrician now. I’m so proud of her 🥰
