7. Favourite book and why?

It has to be PoA because that's where you get to meet Sirius and Remus. I remember feeling like I wanted these people to be real so I could know them too. I do also lovely OotP and HPB though. So moody!!

9. Favourite movie and why?

That's so much harder to answer! I think it's probably going to be Goblet of Fire or Order of the Phoenix. I love the excitement in GoF and the moodiness of OotP. I think it would depend what mood I was in.

Unrequited Love? Oblivious? Like if you like obliviousness, who would you prefer to be oblivious?

Hiii! Thank you so much for asking me ❤️ Hmm... ok, I like unrequited love but I'm not sure I like it that much if there isn't a happy ending when we find out it's requited after all? So... A-? I absolutely go mad with obliviousness, and I also love to write R like this: "Oh, Sirius must have repeatedly kissed me by mistake, no way he fancies me. When he says he loves me I'm sure he means it in a friendly, platonic way."

8. What’s your favorite band/artist?

According to my 2021 Spotify Wrapped, it's Olivia Rodrigo. This is such a tough question! I guess I'll say that Taylor Swift, Tom Petty, and Fleetwood Mac are three artists that I come back to over and over when I'm in certain moods.

Bonus: What's your favorite concert you've been to?

My first concert was Fall Out Boy, so that one holds a special place in my heart. My other favorites were Childish Gambino and Pitbull. Pitbull puts on an extremely entertaining show lmao. That was by far the most fun I've ever had at a concert!

An honorable mention goes to a Demi Lovato/Nick Jonas concert where they brought out Joe Jonas as a surprise guest to perform Cake by the Ocean (when that song was everywhere) and my friend started crying on my shoulder because Joe Jonas was his queer awakening as a tween. Good times. XD

34. What’s your favorite flower?

Sunflowers! I love that how they always face the sun as they're growing and then all face eastward toward the sunrise once they mature. They're just nice. :)

peppermint cappuccino— what’s your favorite genre of movie, tv show, or video game and why?

I don't consume a lot of these types of media, but generally I go for comedy TV when I do! Things like Parks and Rec, Good Omens, The Good Place, Schitt's Creek, and Ted Lasso. Comedies with heart, I guess? The world is a mess and my job deals with some heavy subjects, so I reserve my remaining angst capacity for reading. ;)

I also love the Olympics and I'm excited to watch those next month. After that I think Fleabag is up next on my to-watch list!

B6: What is your favorite story trope? Why?

I really had to think about this one! I guess mutual pining? Does that count as a trope? It can be very comical, but it has to be paced properly. I also like a good time travel AU, because they can be a fun way to mix up the characters and get some fresh dynamics when done well. If we want to go really trope-y, probably there’s only one bed haha.

B7: Which character is your favorite to read about? Why?

I answered this already (Remus), but I can do another! In terms of minor characters, I probably read the most about Regulus Black. I’m a sucker for complex Black family dynamics, and I feel like there’s so much to explore behind his change of heart about Voldemort and his discovery of the locket horcrux. There aren’t that many good Regulus-centric fics out there, but I’ve found some gems.

D6: How many bookmarks do you have?

Hahaha oh no. I have… 476 bookmarks on AO3. 445 of those are HP. Remus/Sirius is the most common relationship tag with 169. I really need to organize them better and add some tags for the external works so I can remember what they are more easily, though I’m usually able to locate what I want very quickly. A project for another day. ;)

7. My favorite way to travel would be in the passenger seat of a car probably. Trains and busses are fun. Driver’s seat is fun. Riding a horse is kinda fun if it’s a nice horse and the saddle ass isn’t bad. Flying as a working class wench is pretty crappy but I take it well. Riding by small engine boat is quite lovely. Rowboats? No. Gondolas? Neat enough. I can’t think of a real method that I haven’t done that I want to do.

16. What advice would I give myself 5 years ago: It’s not worth it.

Hi! :) Merry Christmas.

#1 Song of the year? Truly a difficult question, hm... Stats wise, I'm On Fire continues to rack up numbers on replays and longevity. Meaning I keep playing it throughout the year. I'd say nearly the same about The Stable Song by Gregory Alan Isakov. However, the song of the year, something that is particular to 2025. The final version of Waco, Texas by Ethel Cain.

#4 Movie of the year? Oh, gracious..... This isn't a flattering question for me because I watched a lot of quality movies that I'm far more passionate about last year. Tough one. I'll give movie of the year to Conclave (2024), which I watched for the first time in January. It's not my favorite movie I watched this year but is the best quality movie I watched for the first time this year. Honorable mention to Avatar: Fire and Ash, which I wouldn't give MOTY just cause it's a third installment in a series. And also, two which I probably liked more than Conclave, regardless of elevation or quality, are Meet The Robinsons (2007) and The Peanut Butter Falcon (2019). This year wasn't as good a year for movies as previous years.

#20 What’s something you learned this year? ...What can I say which is fit for a tumblr post... I'll say this year I learned how to start an mp3 library and organize and keep up with it. Idk, man, I learned a lot, idk what to say.
