jj/emily is EVERYTHING you want in a ship, like there are literal scenes of them holding hands to comfort each other and tenderly reassuring the other that there's nothing wrong with them and every time one's in danger, the team always calls the other to help. also when jj was kidnapped, she never once thought about her husband and hallucinated emily coming to save her 🥺 not to mention the wlw tropes they embody (bubbly blonde and broody brunette, goth and jock) they're just So Good i love them

spencer/derek is also awesome and that's mostly because the writers were being so toxically masculine, they ended up making it look like they're in love lmao (derek's always calling him "pretty boy", they always feature scenes of them bickering over some nerdy out of pocket shit spencer says, and there's more) omg AND spencer is shown to have an aversion to touch (like he actively leans away from hugs and handshakes) but every time derek hugs him, spencer always leans into it and buries his face in derek's shoulder 🥺

anyway everything about criminal minds pretty much sucks except for the ships

I can't think of any that are actually funny. My coworker and I, anytime we meet someone new will ask the other if "You'd trust them in a dark alley" and I can't remember why. It's also not really a joke.

chamomile ⇢ what kind of things do you like receiving as gifts? Anything really. I'm just happy to be remembered. Warm things are nice though, like socks and blankets. Plushies. Flowers are lovely.

Orchid -> what's a song you consider to be perfect?

This question made me think and overthink many things, but I have decided that "Mount St. Helens is About to Blow Up" by Bill Wurtz to be a perfect song. (If you're wondering what one of my favorite songs is, it's "The Sims Theme" from The Sims 2 University soundtrack, that song is embedded in my childhood memories)

I can't really explain much about my thought process, and this is no exception. Whenever I listen to this song, it just Works, it just like,,, it's neat. I don't even listen to it like "lmao this guy's on drugs" or "whoa so quirky haha", I just really like how it sounds, and how he says words. It's neat, idk

Mahonia -> what place, thing, activity inspires you most and how do you express yourself when it does?

Seeing other people interacting with stuff I'm interested in seems to inspire me pretty well, but sometimes when I'm basting in bed (i just have to sit in bed after waking up to adjust to consciousness), I can get inspired by just thinking. I, very smartly, call it "my brain braining", because it's just doing what it does best. When it comes to actually expressing that inspiration?? It's almost always by drawing it, but if I don't have the time or energy for that, I add it to a list of ideas on my phone. That list is very long at this point. Hopefully some of it will be made at some point.

Sage -> what 'medium' of art (poetry, music, fiction, paintings, statues etc.) is the most touching to you? Why do you think that is?

I think I would consider more visual mediums to be most influential and meaningful to me, because I guess I'm a pretty visual person. You may have noticed over time that I make a lot (like, so many) references to the point that I don't analyze things well, and it's kinda why. I very much see things as face value, which is why poetry goes completely over my head. The fact that paintings and statues or other visual concepts of art can be seen by anyone, any number of times, and have so many different takeaways, it's just so cool to me. And it's not even on renowned Renaissance works, the number of times I've come across ship art on tumblr and found it funny, despite humor not being its initial intent, is a significant number (i cannot read a room, potentially).

friend to lovers B: Like it. Not one of my bigger cravings, but it can scratch a certain itch if I’m in the right mood.

It's a thing I like, but not really a thing i would search for. It's always a bonus when included though.

slow burns C: Neutral. A good author might be able to sell it, but a bad one will kill it deader than dead.

The reason being, I don't have the patience to read a WIP if it's slow burn anymore. If it's completed i'm more than willing to read 100k+ of them slowly falling in love(or mutually pining for each other the entire time). So it's not so much "good author" v. "bad author" as much as it is "wip" v. "complete".

August - what is the worst thing you’ve ever experienced? That's a little hard because life is going p well. I was going to say the time I was diagnosed as diabetic. That was whatever though. I guess it follows up to the point when that was going well too. This was a few years back now. I went about three years without medication. No doctor's visits or anything. I had food poisoning once and had to see the doctor who was like, "It's the diabetes! You're unmanaged." I got checked and everything was great(other than the food poisoning, that sucked). I was fine for years, and then suddenly I wasn't anymore? Getting a phone call that I had to be put back on insulin after managing on my own for years was such a low feeling. Like, it felt like i failed somehow. I remember feeling like my head was underwater. idk idk idk. Looking back it wasn't a big deal. I've had lots of bad experiences that I made out to be worse than they actually were? I'm a super duper drama queen. The food poisoning sucked a lot though. I slept that off after taking some medicine. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
