But no like my brain kept repeating this poem/riddle from a book I read in high school
“One fine day, in the middle of the night,
Two dead boys got up to fight
Back to back they faced each other,
Pulled out their swords and shot one another”
And I couldn’t for the life of me remember the final bit of the fuckin thing and for like a week it kept replaying in my head just those four sentences until I spent one night googling to find the phrase that would allow me to escape the feedback loop my brain had become and as I finally get it and I’m explaining my exclamation of happiness to @evgaming I foolishly was like “you know when your brain gives you a thing and you can’t think of anything else until you give your brain what it wants??” And he was like “no??????” And I was so baffled that he didn’t have to appease the demanding brain gods and then he said “no my brain doesn’t hyperfixate on things until I satisfy it” and that’s when I realized that this was an ADHD thing that not everyone has to deal with and even though I know I have ADHD I’m still shocked pikachu all the time
