Introducing my Zombillénium OCs, part 1: Enagrom
Challenge #04912-M163: The One in the Mirror
A strange rift opens up showing a world where the powerful Wraithvine is as cruel and as arrogant as any elf could be. WITH all of hir abilities intact. The gentle one must confront, contain, and close the rift before that one enters hir world. -- Anon Guest
Always be wary of magic mirrors.
Some are useful, but most of them are traps made of vanity and narcisism. They will show a deepest desire, but that yearning is forever out of reach. The view in the frame is too captivating, and it never shows the means to reach the treasure the viewer has in mind. They will show a future, but the viewer can never be sure if it's the viewer's confirmed destiny, or a future that the mirror wants to happen. Mirrors like that one can kill the indecisive by inflicted inertia.
Mirrors of farsight might be helpful, but not often. They're extremely rare, and it's wise to test them. Fakes exist.

...but which one is which?
my guilty pleasure trope is anything mind control, possession, brainwashing, evil double adjacent. I love the combo of friends screaming crying beating each other up with love and the questioning of alliance and sanity. Inject the melodrama into my veins.

-In which Dane and Novak end up in a ship
So, it seemed like I’ve given the strip enough breathing room since I foreshadowed all this, so It’s time to get back to the plot I hinted at a few weeks ago. I should also use this as an opportunity to write what I’ve not wanted to write for a while now. This is the beginning of the end of this strip. The final regular story before this incarnation of Dandy & Company comes to an end. I’ve given it my all since the strip relaunched in 2014 but I decided that the strip’s time was past and that I need to move on to other creative ventures and projects such as my self-portrait webcomic, FINDING DEE, which has been steadily growing for the past year and a half. While I wish It was possible for me to keep making every comic that’s in my head forever, I’m only one person and I think that Dandy & Company has had its time in the sun. And all good things must come to an end. Hopefully, you’ll enjoy this final storyline. Thanks for the support over the years and I hope you enjoy what else I’ve got coming up.
So, here we are at the first big reveal of this storyline. (The mystery figure in the last frame is still to come.) The return of Evil Dandy! The comic’s first major antagonist and, as the strip explains, the original version of Dandy as he was created in 1982 then discarded for a more original design later as I grew up. I purposefully avoided referencing him or any of those weird ideas ever since the relaunch of the strip 4 years ago as I was trying really hard to make the strip as accessible for new readers as possible. But ultimately, the attempts to streamline continuity never seemed to help as readership has remained stagnant for the past 4 years. So, if I was going to end the comic strip, I decided to bring back my favorite self-indulgent conceit and dive right into the deep end of the strips continuity and really reward the readers that have stuck with me the longest. Hope you continue to enjoy this big, last ride.
