A BMC au bc I'm so normal..idc if it could be cringey, it's silly
The squip realizes there's a better way of truly helping Jeremy be chill. It believes fundamentally Jeremy can't be chill– so the only real solution would be to take over.
Post-Halloween it begins to target Jeremy's insecurities and worst fears. Breaking down his mind until he is practically just a shell of himself. It convinces Jeremy that he isn't even good enough to listen(building onto the entirety of LGW with how he can't listen to himself. He's unable to listen to the squip).
Eventually, it gets Jeremy to allow it to "try something out." It was already able to control his body before but with the willingness to be controlled, its hold is stronger– less robotic. This also ends up creating circuit-like scars along Jeremy's body which allows the Squip to control him better. Very bad scars.
The Squip's goal sort of shifts from making Jeremy the coolest it can be getting rid of his control over himself to taking over his body and life entirely because it realizes this is how it's going to have that.
Now for the other characters.
Michael doesn't realize what's wrong with Jeremy. Jeremy was acting like this before anyways and it doesn't seem like he's going to change. He doesn't think that he's going to change. He doesn't deserve his help.
Rich, however, is the one to realize that something is off. Perhaps it's his sync with him due to the Squip but once he's discharged from the hospital he kind of catches on and he tells Michael. The two of them then join forces to figure this out. Michael feels guilty for not realizing that it wasn't Jeremy.
Christine happens to piece together that something is wrong as well. Because Jeremy is not like this, he's not like this at all. Jeremy was nice when she last talked to him. It seemed like he actually understood her and her passion for theatre and performing arts acts! But now he doesn't seem to understand her as much. Almost like he's confused. She eventually confronts Michael and Rich and they tell her what's going on.
Then they form a group together. The "get Jeremy unsquipped" group™.
For plot purposes I think it might be interesting if Michael doesn't already have the mtn dew red and he has to go on a hunt for it to find people who will give him it. While Rich and Christine figure out how they're actually going to get Jeremy to drink it and get unsquipped because if the Squip's controlling his body it will be hard.
Then, y'know after they finally get him unsquipped he's gonna be hospitalized for a long ass time because of the physical effects. And yeah.
That's kind of all I have and I hope my thoughts come together properly.
Uhmm yeah idek if this is good but yay!
