*Aqua was walking, not even realizing how lost she’s gotten. She walks, and walks, and walks.
*She has to stop babying Ven. It’s only going to push him away, she knows that, but-
*He’s always been the baby of the group. Even Rose agrees — Ven has always been the youngest.
*And now he’s blind, on top of everything! He’s blind, and she’s just been trying to keep their home clean, but it’s so large that she can’t possibly do it all herself — not to mention Terra is still missing, as is Vanitas, and both of those are concerning, and Ven has new friends and a new life and he’s nothing like the boy she knew, but at the same time he’s exactly like the boy she knew, and she doesn’t know what to do!
*So all in all, the half-armored woman doesn’t fully notice where she is — in fact, she hardly even notices when the rest of her armor summons itself; a response to her lack of situational awareness, considering that’s how she lost her leg.

*fields slowly transition to meadows, which turn woods. thick fog covers the surrounding area, with trees everywhere. any kind of path soon ends and is replaced with tall grass and ferns.*
*these woods were designed to confuse and disorient travellers, and it works rather well. eventually, the dense trees give way to a small garden. flowers bloom in rich soil, thriving together.*
*…ghosty can hear someone nearby. those aren’t animal footsteps, the metal clanking is distinctly a person, and an armed one. they’ve always follow the noise until they discover aqua. their eyes narrow. a threat? no, she seems to be passive right now.*
*they’re ready to fight, just in case, but for now they observe from out of view. the only real sign of their presence is a faint chill in the air, and the feeling of being watched.*
