ReiyoWeek Day 7: Spooky/Horror

I think we should extend Reiyo week and continue to draw them every day of the year.

Almost forgot to do my monthly Simp post

But evil Rei is on the mind again

Like, imagine EMBER brainwashing him into thinking that he was betrayed or something. Telling him things like “they never cared for you” or “you changed nothing.” And they show him like the state of Wellston after he left, how Arlo acted towards John, and how Remi grieves after the loss of her brother. They blame all the hardships that Remi and Arlo face into Rei to put it into his mind that they are broken and that he’s the reason for that.

They also manipulate him into thinking that he was sold out as a vigilante. That when he gave Kuyo his copy of unOrdinary that Kuyo sold him out to the authorities. They push the idea that no one cares about him into his mind until he is no longer this warm, happy and caring person. But a cold, mean, and violent shell of who he used to be.

He cant remember what he was like before, and when he sees the faces of his friends he sees them blurred out and replaced with a copy of them that glares at him and curses him.

He is no longer Rei

He doesn’t even know what he’s become because he can’t remember what he was

I imagine he would struggle with his emotions (Let’s assume he’s secretly alive and has just been kept captive by EMBER). It’s not that he’s emotionless, he just doesn’t understand himself anymore. He can’t be happy because nothing makes him happy. He can’t feel sad because he doesn’t understand what that is. His mind isn’t blank, it’s just numb.

Evil Rei is on the mind again

Imagine Blyke accepts Kuyo’s offer to work with him one day when the two of them finish taking down someone they get attacked by some EMBER agent with a lightning ability and Kuyo realizes it’s Rei and just freezes. Rei let’s them go through cause there’s still a shred of himself still in whatever messed up headspace he’s in and they escape. Cut to Blyke and Kuyo like run to Remi to tell her that’s he’s alive and Arlos in the room as well. And Remi breaks down but Arlo doesn’t believe it until Blyke describes what happened in vivid detail and now they’re just all confused and angry and betrayed.

Cut to evil Rei just chilling, eating some ice cream or something with not a clue who he just talked to.

Then cut to him chilling in their break room or something and his coworkers are like, “he’s literally the sweetest thing how did he get here”

Evil Rei is just Rei with screwed morals. He’s still kind and willing to help people, it’s just that he’s helping the wrong people.

Terrifying when he fights though

Overhearing the names of his friends but not being able to place a name to face. It’s like an itch in the back of his mind, and it’s frustrating because he knows those names.

He just can’t remember who they belong to.
