I aspire for so much but when no one really believes in you it’s hard to believe in yourself
I am. So excited. My artist just got back to me with the cover for my fifth book, Absent All Light.
And it looks so good. Orrinir looks so slutty. He's a broken little meow meow. He's scratched up. He's sad. He's got blood on his face.
So good. So very good. My favorite of all the covers thus far. So. Good.
Writers block is kicking my ass😭
I have nine chapters left of my TBHX fanfic, I have all the outlines and stuff but everytime I sit down to write I just stop
This is how I feel rn
ReiyoWeek Day 7: Spooky/Horror
I think we should extend Reiyo week and continue to draw them every day of the year.
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
Chapters: 1/1 Fandom: unOrdinary (Webcomic) Rating: Teen And Up Audiences Warnings: Graphic Depictions Of Violence Relationships: Kuyo/Rei (unOrdinary) Characters: Kuyo (unOrdinary), Rei (unOrdinary), Isen (unOrdinary) Additional Tags: Angst, Horror, Hurt No Comfort, Sickfic, Blood, reiyoweek2025, Ghost Rei Summary:
The fever has since gone down, but throughout the next few days, Kuyo’s entire body itches. Tiny needles prick at the tender skin of his arms and legs, and it’s not enough to make him break out into hives or anything, but it’s annoying having the urge to claw at every part of his body while he’s taking notes. God forbid he look like an idiot in class, scratching himself like a swine.
He needs to heat up a giant steel spoon and press it to every pore on his body. That might help. (He’s delusional.)
Something is watching him.
collaboration with @ozyras who drew a stellar piece alongside this on instagram! we’ve been super excited to share this :)
Reiyoweek Day 6: Hurt/Comfort
ReiyoWeek Day 5 ( a day late-oops): Beach Episode
I love beach episodes
Except I tried too hard on this one and didn’t end up finishing on time because I’m so slow at drawing

“Your mom would cook the fish we caught that morning and we’d eat until our stomachs were full.”
“I miss those warm summer days, when we were young, and full of life.”

Working on my To Be Hero X fanfic has encouraged me because as the word count reached 90K today I realized it’s entirely possible for me to write the original books I’ve been planning and thinking about for years.
I gave myself a goal at the beginning of the year when I started this fanfic. If I was able to write this fic without abandoning and putting the same amount of effort I would give a real book, then I would finally start writing my book because I’d no longer have the excuse that “I just can’t write it.”
Which is great cause I see that when I really put my heart (along with learning how to outline, proper sentence structure, and improved dialogue) into it, I am fully capable of writing a book.
However, it’s also incredibly scary because I’m getting close to a goal that I never thought I would reach.
Anyweee, tis life, you have to do things scared otherwise it won’t get done at all🤩

What, pray tell, is this book about? Let me tell you.
A gritty, grimdark fantasy adventure starring a rogueish spy, magical poetry, political intrigue, and shocking body horror. Mordrek Willets loves women, mules, and murder - not necessarily in that order. Plucked from Sina's rough streets and forced to serve as a spy for the queen, he's built a reputation as a pragmatic mercenary who will stop at nothing to achieve his objectives. Still bloody from another difficult assignment, Mordrek is sent to somewhere he never imagined he'd see: Breme, a hermit country huddled behind a mountain range supposedly built by poetry magic. His objective is to learn everything he can about this incredible skill, which has protected the Bremish from their technologically advanced neighbors for centuries. Yet Mordrek has one fatal flaw. He gets infatuated far too easily. And far too hard. Unfortunately for him, he'll be surrounded by High Poets: the powerful, all-female coven that can bend the world through their words. As he gathers enemy intelligence and subtly interrogates the High Poets, Mordrek finds himself hopelessly entangled with one in particular: Juliska Sygnus, an intelligent young healer. They dance around one another, Mordrek struggling not to reveal his mission - or break Juliska's heart. What he learns, both about Breme and about himself, takes almost everything from him. His pride. His loyalty. His love. The fourth book in the Eirenic Verses finally takes the reader across the mountains to Sina, offering a greater understanding of this long-standing conflict. Powerful prose, doomed love, and delicate poetry intertwine to create a unique fantasy spy thriller that will stay with readers long after the final line.
Reviews are essential for visibility on every book platform - you're doing me an immense favor by enjoying my book for free.
You will get a free EPUB or PDF file to enjoy by the release date (November 7, 2025). You don't need to be a professional writer or editor to leave your review; think of it the same as any product review you leave on any site rather than some literary critique.
